Calgary, Canada: Falun Gong Group Wins Award in Santa Claus Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 18, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from
Alberta, Canada, attended the 25th Christmas Parade in Calgary and
won the "Most Enthusiastic Group" award. Demonstrating the exercises More than 1000 people in 50 groups participated in the parade. About 60
thousand people watched the parade along 12 major streets in the city. Falun
Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises on the float. 6 female
practitioners performed the traditional Chinese dancing. Many people accepted
practitioners' flyer. Calgary Hearld, the most influential newspaper in Calgary,
reported the parade and said the beautiful fan dancing and the lotus flowers
amazed the spectators, and practitioners won an award for it.
