Returning to My Hometown to Save Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) I was very much inspired after I read the article, "Master Is Still Waiting, But There Is Really Not Much Time Left" by Rui Nei in Singapore: (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/10/20/79133.html). It reminded us of the urgency of validating Dafa and saving sentient beings before the Fa's rectification of the human world begins.

I had planned to go back to my hometown to tell people about the facts of Falun Gong before this, but by using all sorts of excuses, I did not go. This time I felt that I had to go. I spent a week preparing many truth clarification materials including old and new prophecies, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and I took along 2,000 yuan. There were no other practitioners around my hometown, and my hometown was badly affected by the lies spread by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I faced a lot of difficulties last year when I told people the facts about Falun Gong, but when I left, I told them that I would come back.

This time I was determined to save my relatives and friends in my hometown. When everything was ready I told fellow practitioners at the information center: "Please cover for me when I am gone. I am going back to my hometown to save people. I'll be back in ten days. Please send forth righteous thoughts for me." The next day I arrived at my hometown on a bus. My home is in a small city. My brother, his wife, son, daughter, and my grandson and granddaughter all live there. I told them about the wonder of Dafa that day. I told them about Teacher's tremendous benevolence and Jiang Zemin's hideous crimes. I also explained to them the reason for quitting the CCP and its related organizations, which they all did afterwards.

The next day I went to my sister's house and used the same method to tell her and her family the facts. They also gladly quit the party. I remembered that the method that Teacher taught us is to cultivate among ordinary people, so I bought quite a few presents. With my sister accompanying me, we went to see my past colleagues (retired) from the school. I gave them copies of the Nine Commentaries and told them the facts. Then I helped them go through the process of quitting the CCP and its associated organizations. I heard that the principal's son had gone to a university, so I went to see the principal and talked with him for a long time. He said he needed some time to think about it. When I left, I told him that I would be back.

We began to go to each house up and down the streets to tell them the facts. This is what I said: "How are you? I am bringing you peace." I greeted the elderly and said a few words about their kids and gave them the presents. Then I began to tell them the facts about Falun Gong. Many people would gather around quickly. I remembered the words that Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital:"

"People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things."

Benevolent Teacher would not give up on any savable person. It was Teacher who brought those sentient beings who were yearning to be saved to me. This way they successfully quit the Party. Some were very moved and kept thanking me.

The third day, I called those who had gone to the countryside to do labor with me in the past and asked them to meet with me at a bar. About 30 people came, and all of them ended up quitting the CCP.

It began to rain on the night of the fourth day. I planed to go to my students' homes. Most of them lived in the rural areas, which were not well developed and the road was poor. Thinking of the numerous things that Teacher has done for us, I loaded the presents on my back and went on my way. I walked for ten kilometers on treacherous roads. My shoes were drenched and covered them with a thick layer of mud. My feet hurt badly. Indeed, "It's hard to do, but you can do it." I thought of Teachers' words:

"As Dafa disciples tell people the facts;1 It's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths; Shredding apart the rotten demons' lies; Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them." ("Hurry up and Tell Them")

Gradually my feet no longer hurt. It could be described well this way: "As I walked on the treacherous roads in the countryside, benevolent Teacher was accompanying me." Cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master.

This way, with Teacher's help, the result was good. In seven days, I successfully persuaded 34 people to quit the CCP, 184 to quit the Youth League, and 64 to quit the Young Pioneers. From now on I will devote my whole life to the work of saving sentient beings. No matter how hard it is, I will do it well and do it righteously to please Teacher and to lessen his worries.
