(Clearwisdom.net) We are drug addicts that are detained in the No. 7 Brigade at the Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, Hunan Province. The majority of detainees in the No. 7 brigade are Falun Gong practitioners, the rest are drug addicts who were designated as "monitors" to watch and torture Falun Gong practitioners besides doing forced labor every day.

Falun Gong practitioners are very nice. The biggest difference from us is that they dare to say truthful words, and insist that "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" are right and that "Falun Dafa is good," which normally leads to torture by the guards.

The cruel torture of Falun Gong practitioners is usually executed by "monitors". Methods include depriving practitioners of sleep or use of the restroom for several days, forbidding them to take showers, punishing them by forcing them to stand or squat, beating them on the head, knee, or thigh, using the little bench or stick, and breaking their fingers.

Other insulting tortures were also used: Touching their breasts after removing their clothes; poking the vagina with a hanger or toothbrush; forcing them to write words that insult Falun Gong when they were tortured to a state of great mental confusion; feeding feces or urine to practitioners who were on a hunger strike, or stuffing the mouth with used sanitary towels and stabbing their bodies with needles. But Falun Gong practitioners are steadfast; most of them are tortured half to death. Some of them were tortured to mental collapse or death.

He Yulian, the deputy head of the No. 7 Brigade once explicitly ordered the staff on duty to "fix" a Falun Gong practitioner in several days, which means to force the practitioner to renounce Falun Gong using any means. Drug addicts are afraid of the punishment by the guards and also want their sentences to be shortened. So we laid murderous hands on Falun Gong practitioners by hiding our conscience.

I can still differentiate between what is good and what is bad, but our forced labor term and our health are controlled by the guards, so we were manipulated by the camp authorities and did lots of evil against our will. In the eyes of the camp guards, we are their tools rather than human beings.

We live in terror and oppression which results in exhaustion of mind and body. We are afraid of the punishment from the guards. On the other hand, we are scared of the retribution for the evil we did, since what we face is unarmed, compassionate people. I am very confused in my heart and want to leave this human hell as soon as possible. But where is the road to my future?

One day, a Falun Gong practitioner told me, "If you repeatedly recite 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good' in your heart, there will be a hope tomorrow and the way is right ahead."

Thereafter, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good" echoed in my heart, and I am thinking, why can't we find a new direction like this to detach ourselves from all the vice we committed in the past and gain a true rebirth.
