At the Time of the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, a Bright Moon Rises in the Hearts of Chinese People

(Clearwisdom.net) Tears welled in my eyes as an elderly man repeated after me, "Falun Gong is good!" At that moment, I was certain that a bright moon is rising in the hearts of the Chinese people.

Under the shroud of a ghastly sky, Beijing's weather wasn't as crisp and clear as it used to be approaching the Mid-Autumn Festival (also called "Moon Festival"). For the past seven years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been ruthlessly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, spreading lies and hate propaganda against Falun Gong. Its killing of countless practitioners and endless crimes against this innocent group of people have stained the land of China with blood, tears and turmoil. Today the people in China can hardly ever see a clear moon in the sky.

After last year's Moon Festival, many fellow Falun Gong practitioners were arrested. To this day, many of them continue to be imprisoned and suffer from horrible torture. During this year's Moon Festival, indeed there was no moon in the sky, for the sky was hidden by thick layers of clouds. For the past seven years, there have been countless reports of persecution from practitioners all over China presented on the Clearwisdom website. As of October 2006, there are nearly 3,000 confirmed cases of practitioners dead as a result of the persecution in China. In addition, hundreds of thousands more have been imprisoned and tortured. Moreover, practitioners are killed for their organs and their bodies are destroyed in incinerators even when they may still be breathing. The unprecedented level of evil has continued since the persecution began.

Before last year's Moon Festival, the wicked CCP arrested a large number of practitioners. They even resorted to door-to-door searches. The CCP harassed each and every practitioner on its list and attempted to persecute them. Kindhearted practitioners are merely telling people the truth about Falun Gong to the Chinese people. The CCP is wicked, for it persecutes good people who follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Falun Gong practitioners are trying to save people from the CCP's inevitable fate of self-annihilation by persuading them to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Practitioners are saving people with compassion. However, the CCP is making a desperate struggle with vicious means. In doing so, the CCP has veiled Beijing in an ambient level of terror. The air in Beijing has become foggy and cloudy.

All the significant events in history are the unstoppable results of Heaven's will. A terrorist regime is powerless before the truth. More and more people in China are awakening. Isn't it a sign that the end of the wicked CCP is near?

While discussing the future of China with a young man I told him, "The CCP is an evil specter from the west. It is a demon that hampers China from progressing into the future. The CCP's theory of atheism blocks the Chinese people's road to the future. The CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners for their righteous faith in the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance has condemned itself, as well as everyone who participated in it. Withdrawing from the CCP is the only way for the Chinese people to ensure their futures. Why don't you read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party carefully?" Then he seemed happy with sparkles of renewed hope in his eyes. He immediately decided to withdraw from the CCP, the Youth League and the Young Pioneers.

Two children passed by a fellow practitioner and me, but they returned to greet us. I took the opportunity to ask them, "Have you joined the Young Pioneers?" The fellow practitioner asked, "Would you like to withdraw from it?" One child asked, "Why should I withdraw from it?" The other child said, " The CCP is very wicked. It has killed many people. My grandmother's grandmother met Mao Zedong in person. She said Mao was a wicked man who killed many people. I want to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. My entire family hates the CCP!" The first child said loudly, "I will withdraw from the Pioneers too!"

An elderly woman hailed me from a distance and asked me to sit with her on a bench on a lawn. I produced a Falun Gong bookmark as a gift to her. She told me excitedly, "Two months before July 1999, elderly friends and I practiced Falun Gong next to the old city wall in my hometown. It was wonderful. Practicing Falun Gong cured my hypertension and heart disease. Every day there were more people joining us, but we weren't able to get a copy of Zhuan Falun. We had to share one with several practitioners. After the persecution started, I was too afraid of the persecution to practice Falun Gong. Now my health is not as good as then." I asked, "Auntie, would you like to read Zhuan Falun? I will manage to find one for you." She replied, "I am half illiterate. I now live with my children. I am afraid that they might be against it if I study Zhuan Falun." I pointed at the words on the amulet and read each word out loud to her. "Falun Gong is good!" I told her to recite these words first before explaining the truth about Falun Gong to her children. She nodded repeatedly with delight.

While this lady repeatedly recited, "Falun Gong is good," a security officer was patrolling the streets nearby. However, she was oblivious to him and focused entirely on reciting the words. When I saw this, I realized that a clear moon has risen in people's hearts! A ray of hope for the future has illuminated the land of China!

On the eve of the Moon Festival, please allow me to extend my greetings to my fellow cultivators of Dafa's principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance! They are saving sentient beings with kindness and compassion despite dangerous risks. With uncompromising will and spirit, they are spreading the message of good fortune --- Falun Gong is good!
