(Clearwisdom.net) On November 25, 2006, more than forty groups took part in the Christmas Parade in Rotorua, a famous tourist town in New Zealand. More than 6,000 people watched the parade. Falun Gong practitioners participated in the parade. More than 3 million tourists visit Rotorua every year. The local government holds the Christmas Parade every year to promote the different cultures of the area. Mayor Kevin Winters and Member of Parliament Mrs. Steve Chadwick came to the parade and were part of the judging panel. The mayor also talked to Falun Gong practitioners when he and his family passed by the practitioners float. The Falun Gong practitioners float demonstrated traditional Chinese culture and attracted a lot of spectators. The paper lotus flowers made by Taiwanese practitioners were also very welcomed by the people. They brought the blessing of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
