(Clearwisdom.net) After reading the article "What is the Root Cause of the Persecution?" published in the September 24 edition of Minghui Weekly, I would like to share my understanding of the situation in my local area and my personal situation. I hope those practitioners who have written renouncement statements can clearly see their shortcomings and have a clear understanding of the Fa principles. I also hope that they will not become trapped by the persecution arranged by the old forces again. We should completely end the illegal detainment and persecution in forced labor camps and prisons which has been forced upon practitioners, and walk well on our Fa-rectification cultivation path arranged by Master.

When the evil started persecuting Dafa practitioners on July 20, 1999, some practitioners had the thought of going to prison in order to clarify the truth. Some betrayed other practitioners under pressure. Some practitioners were persecuted and their families tried to sue our practitioners by claiming that their family member was persecuted due to other practitioners. Some practitioners were therefore made to do forced-labor and some were persecuted to death. Some went down a wicked path and some have gone to the opposite side of Dafa.

Several years have passed. Those practitioners who had not done well were released from prison. Some wanted to make up for the damage they brought to Dafa and wanted to prove that they can do better if they are persecuted again by the evil. They thought about how they should respond to what the evildoers say and do. They wanted to prove that they can do better rather than to validate the Fa. Some practitioners are jealous of other practitioners. They said to themselves: "Why is it that Practitioner A has not been persecuted? Look at Practitioner B, he has cultivated so well that the evil would not dare to come and persecute him." Some practitioners believe they have cultivated pretty well and therefore developed the attachment of complacency and showing-off, and thus showed themselves off among practitioners. Some practitioners were afraid of their organs being harvested after they were arrested and therefore betrayed other practitioners. Some practitioners felt that they would be arrested if they distributed too many truth-clarifying materials. Practitioners who are responsible for printing materials felt they were the target of the evil. Therefore, they thought about when the evil will come and how they should respond to the evil's persecution. These thoughts are a manifestation of inadequate Fa-study and they are not righteous thoughts of a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple. If practitioners continue to think like this, they become susceptible to the evil's persecution.

Master said, "...good or evil comes from a person’s spontaneous thought." (Zhuan Falun, English Translation Version 2000) If we often have thoughts that we will be persecuted by the evil, isn't that the same as pursuing persecution? We are Fa-rectification Period Dafa disciples. We should have Master's Fa in our minds, rather than those evil thoughts that are not part of Dafa. Master said, in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference"

What I have observed is that most practitioners who had been persecuted by the evil have one thing in common, that is they often fall asleep while doing Fa-study and sending forth righteous thoughts. They are often too busy to even practice the exercises. I suggest that those practitioners, especially those who are in charge of the materials sites, pay more attention to studying the Fa, doing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts. When necessary, please put aside your work at hand in order to reduce losses.

Practitioners have attachments and fear. I believe this attachment, the attachment to fear and to pursuit, is something that the old forces forced upon our practitioners. The old forces have arranged all the elements that will bring damage to practitioners internally. They have caused our minds to make excuses that they can use to persecute us. Some practitioners have followed a wicked path, have slandered Master and the Fa, betrayed practitioners and started learning practices from another school. The wicked path itself is an arrangement by the old forces and a crime due to our indulging the evil.

With the persecution mentioned above, at the beginning, practitioners had thoughts of going to prison to clarify the truth. These unrighteous thoughts do not come from ourselves. Think about it, you tell people that Falun Dafa is good, yet you go to prison so often. How would others dare to learn Dafa? The families of those practitioners who had been persecuted had also suffered, how could they understand you? The world's people are waiting for us to clarify the truth to them, if we are to be detained in jail, how can we clarify the truth to them? Unknowingly, we have created negative effects and we could not do well the three things that Master asked us to do. Our fellow practitioners,

Let us not foster the evil demons any longer.

As far as those who have walked on a deviated cultivation path and have written a renouncement statement, when we send forth righteous thoughts, we should eliminate the old forces' evil arrangements, which will lead practitioners to walk on a wicked path, slander Master and the Fa and betray practitioners and Master. We should totally deny and eliminate the old forces and the wicked party's persecution. We do not need to cultivate well amidst the tribulations arranged by the old forces. We are to do well the three things that Master asked us to do while totally denying the old forces arrangements.

Recently, in our local area, two practitioners were arrested due to betrayal by certain practitioners. The materials site was damaged and huge losses were incurred, which brought much difficulty for local practitioners in clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings. I hope practitioners who read this article can strengthen their righteous thoughts and eliminate the wicked spirits and demons that betray practitioners. Please remind those practitioners who have walked on a deviated cultivation path to not miss this chance again. Let go of human attachments. Have righteous thoughts and righteous actions. Be diligent and advance forward together. Please kindly point out any mistakes.
