(Clearwisdom.net) In a remote mountain area in China lives a group of simple, benevolent Dafa practitioners. The majority of them are in their sixties. During the past seven years of the evil Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, they have developed a righteous and relatively less-restricted cultivation environment via their firm belief in Dafa and Teacher.
Police Got Nothing
On September 9, 2006, four female Dafa practitioners went to a township to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. On their way, they met a foreigner, gave him Dafa materials and told him about the importance of quitting the CCP. That person immediately said that he wanted to quit. While they were talking and writing, a car stopped behind them. Two men got out, shouting, "What are you doing here?" and started to drag a Dafa practitioner into the car. They were the director and an officer from the local police station.
Facing such a sudden incident, the practitioners were a little bit nervous, but they quickly calmed down and realized what they should do. They pulled out that practitioner who had been taken by the police. At the same time they sent forth righteous thoughts and took turns clarifying the truth to the policemen. Many people had gathered to watch.
The director and the policeman were tired from dragging the practitioner, but they still would not let her go. The practitioner was dragged, and fell on the ground. Another practitioner sat down in the lotus position and said to the two policemen, "Nowadays everyone is busy making a living, who wants to do anything against the government or get involved in politics? Can we, a few old ladies, form a political force? We are just trying to be good people and our clarifying the truth is for the sake of the people in our hometown."
The director asked, "Where did you get these materials?" A practitioner answered, "These materials are everywhere. Haven't you got some at home?"
The director became angry, "You must go to the police station to tell us." The Dafa practitioner answered sternly, "If you want us to explain, we will do it here, but we are not going to the police station."
Then the director waved his hand, trying to hit the practitioner. All of sudden, their car moved. It started sliding down the hill. The director ran to his car, trying to stop it, but it was futile. Finally a driver who was watching on the side stopped the car for them.
The director must have realized something. He softened his voice, "Please cooperate with us and go to the police station." The Dafa practitioner answered, "If your car is stalled, we can help you push it. But if you want us to go to the police station, no way!"
The two policemen then tried to call the police department of the township but their call would not go through. Later, they called two policemen from their local station to help. They took away only a practitioner's bag with a bottle of shampoo in it, but they were not able to take any practitioners with them.
A Family Starts to Learn about Dafa
A couple who are Dafa practitioners went to visit their relatives. On their way, they clarified the truth to a family that they had not met before. But after a few words, that family started insulting and cursing them. The Dafa practitioners tried to explain more but it did not work, so they left. Then they realized that they left something in that house.
The husband said, "No wonder they scolded us. We are not even calm enough to keep track of our things." So they went back to that house. Before they spoke, that family apologized, "We thought we offended you!" The practitioner replied with a smile, "Not at all. We practitioners will not be angry with you." From then on, that family started to learn about Dafa.
The Dog Did not Bite
Several Dafa practitioners went to clarify the truth in a nearby village. On their way there they kept sending forth righteous thoughts. When they went into a house, two seniors sitting on a bed were very puzzled, "How strange! Who are you and how did you get in? We have a big dog that bites strangers. How come it did not even bark?" As they were talking, the dog came into the room and quietly sat next to a Dafa practitioner. The Dafa practitioners knew why this was happening. They clarified the truth to the old couple and that family was quite receptive.
Hanging Dafa Posters for Ten Miles
Early one morning, a woman had just finished practicing the Falun Gong exercises when she heard someone knocking at the door. It was her younger brother, whose many illnesses disappeared after practicing Falun Gong, standing at the door sweating. He told her, "I am going to be busy today, so I got up early to hang posters about Falun Dafa and saving sentient beings. Because I wanted to finish it before dawn, I just kept posting and running for ten miles."
A Surprise Given by Teacher
One day, to rescue two Dafa practitioners who had been arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials, four Dafa practitioners planned to go to that county, sixty miles away, to distribute more materials.
After finishing work and dinner, it was after seven o'clock when they started the trip. The road was terrible to walk on after several days of rain. They came to a muddy road after walking six or seven miles. Three practitioners in their forties and fifties were able to go through it, but the most senior one in her sixties was trapped in the mud. At this time, a Jeep came by. So the three practitioners asked the driver to give a ride to the practitioner in the mud.
The driver backed up his Jeep and brought the practitioner out. In a friendly manner he said to the practitioners, "You must be those people posting things here and there. Why else would you old ladies be walking in the dark. Where do you want to go?" The practitioners answered, "To so-and-so county." The driver said, "What a coincidence! I am going to that county too. I know you are good people and you are doing good things. Let me give you a ride." The practitioners were surprised and kept thanking the driver. In their hearts they knew this was arranged by Teacher. They were not familiar with that area, but a passenger in the car was very familiar with that county. He kept telling practitioners how to get around in the downtown area. While he was talking, the Jeep stopped in front of a gate. The passenger said, "Too bad, we can't go through." But the driver smiled, saying, "Don't worry, can't you see we have honorable guests on our car." Amazingly, the gate automatically raised, as if welcoming them in. The passenger was totally amazed.
It was 2:00 a.m. when they arrived in the town. The passenger said to them, "There are patrols before 3:00 a.m. It's cold outside, why don't you sit in the car and wait until after 3." The Dafa practitioners got out of the car at 3:00 a.m. and distributed materials to every street, the government offices and even the police department. They were finished before dawn.
Helping a Dozen People Quit the CCP In the Time it Takes Water to Boil
When Dafa practitioners started persuading people to quit the CCP in 2005, it was not that difficult in their region because they had done well in truth-clarification before, and many people understood Dafa already. To save more people, Dafa practitioners utilize all possible time. Some practitioners would go to see their neighbors after they put dinner on the stove. Then they came back when the water was boiling, and in their hands was a list of names of people quitting the CCP.
"The Director of the Police Department Is also Someone We Want to Save"
One day, while a Dafa practitioner was working at home, a stranger stopped by, asking to use the bathroom. He took out a copy of truth-clarification materials and invited the stranger for a chat. The stranger said no, but the practitioner handed him the material. The stranger was very surprised, "Do you know who are you handing these materials to?" The Dafa practitioner had no clue. That person said, "I am the director of the Police Department!" This Dafa practitioner smiled, saying, "The director of the Police Department is also someone we want to save." The director took the materials and left without another word.
A Policeman Took a Copy of Truth-Clarification Material
A male Dafa practitioner, in his sixties, was imprisoned for three years for appealing for Falun Gong and had been held in detention centers many times. With his firm belief in Teacher and Dafa, he continuously does what a Dafa practitioner should do. Since last year, whenever he goes shopping, he carries a bag of truth-clarification materials and clarifies the truth to those at the market. He is very humorous and people enjoy listening to him talk, and are willing to take his materials.
Once, when he was distributing the materials, he felt someone taking things out of the bag behind his back. He turned around and saw that it was a policeman. He put his hand on his bag and humorously said, "One person, one copy." The policeman said, "Aren't you afraid that I will report and arrest you?" He smiled, "You won't. You are a good man." That policeman smiled, too. He took a copy of the material and left.
A Pocket Full of Chalk
Practitioners use many methods to help sentient beings understand the truth of Dafa. One Dafa practitioner in his sixties visited a fellow practitioner in town and was ready to leave at 11:00 p.m. The practitioner in town knew he lived twenty miles away, so he said, "It's very late. Where are you going?" With a big smile, he showed him a pocket full of chalk, "You see how bright the moon is? I will write truth clarification slogans on my way home. I'll get back before dawn, have a little rest, and then go to work in the fields."
A Young Man's Attitude Was Changed
Two female Dafa practitioners went to a village to clarify the truth. They went to a house and met a young man. When they started talking, that young man scolded them and asked them to leave. When they tried to explain more to him, he went to his dog house, ready to release his dog to bite them. One practitioner left due to fear, but the other practitioner was not moved at all. She continued to talk to the young man. As a result, that young man not only did not release his dog or get angrier, he listened to her until she finished.
From then on, whenever the young man drives by this Dafa practitioner's home, he honks his horn to say hi.
These Dafa practitioners in this remote mountain area look ordinary, but everything they do is very moving to people and to Heaven and Earth. They are just a group of ordinary cultivators, but they have played so many beautiful songs of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." To save sentient beings, they are following Teacher to express the wonderfulness of the universe's Dafa to every person.
