Protecting Dafa Practitioners Leads to Promotions

1.) A political commissar at a county police department in Xinjiang Autonomous Region was aware that a Dafa practitioner, living close to his relative, was in danger of being illegally arrested. He called his relative and urged the practitioner to leave quickly. As a result, the practitioner avoided arrest. Another time when he learned that the police wanted to arrest the same practitioner again, he notified the practitioner through his relative. This way, the practitioner escaped, again, from persecution. Within a few months after those incidences, this commissar was promoted consecutively and became an official with the same level of rank as a city mayor.

2.) A director of a detention center was very kind to Dafa practitioners who were illegally detained there. He did not allow criminals to beat or verbally abuse practitioners. He also did not allow abuse of other detainees. If someone did not obey an order or had improper behavior, he would firmly stop it. This director was supposed to retire. However, he was promoted and took a job with a more important role of responsibility instead.

After silently reciting "Falun Dafa is good," symptoms of muscle atrophy disappear

Ms. Zhang, a 67-year-old retiree and our neighbor, had muscle problems in her right leg. It was very painful for her and she lost the ability to walk. Comparing the two legs, one (the left) was normal, while the other (the right) was just skin and bone. The city hospital had diagnosed it as muscle atrophy and the provincial hospital was not even able to make a diagnosis.

A couple of months ago, Ms. Zhang underwent surgery, but did not recover even several months afterward. She was contemplating suicide.

Being aware of her situation, I told her to silently recite "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" I also told her the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. She responded, "I believe you. I do not believe what the television has shown. I would like to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations."

Four days later, while I was returning from grocery shopping, she caught up with me from behind. I was surprised, "Whoa, you can walk now!" She told me, "I haven't felt pain in my leg since that afternoon after you left my home in the morning."

Now both of her legs look normal. I told her, "Since your leg has recovered, I would like to post your story and let the whole world know that Falun Dafa is good." "That is a great idea!" she replied, and added, "Please also write a thank you note to Master Li."

Since then Ms. Zhang has also started learning Falun Dafa.
