(Clearwisdom.net) 1. Getting Rid of Human Attachments to Manifest Our Divine Power Due to the attachments of comfort and fear, on the day I was released from
prison, I signed my name on the Bail Out Statement. In the thought report
column, I wrote that I would follow the law, take care of my family well, etc. I
felt I was not very righteous, but my human side was finding excuses for my
actions. Later, through studying the Fa and strengthening my
righteous thoughts, I realized that our paths as Falun Dafa disciples are being
left for the future, and only a righteous path can validate the Fa. This evil
persecution is forced upon practitioners by the old forces, and all
mistreatments in the persecution are interfering with and damaging Fa-rectification.
Signing names according to the evil requirements is cooperating with the evil.
Since I already felt my signing was not righteous, why did I give in to the
evil? When I was arrested, I first thought was that I was not a criminal when
faced with several dozen policemen. What I did was the most righteous act. I
thought about Dafa disciples' responsibilities, and that I must put aside life
or death, put aside myself, and completely clarify the truth and
save sentient beings with righteous thoughts and actions to fulfill my mission
well. I experience the solemness and sacredness of Falun Dafa when I truly have
righteous thoughts and do righteous actions. When I face sentient beings with
mercy, the power of compassion melts the evil, and I can validate Falun Dafa and
save people. My divine and righteous thoughts always took precedence in the
prison, which enabled me to be responsible for Dafa, sentient beings, and
myself. My human attachments took precedence when I was released, causing me to
give in to the evil. Master taught us in Zhuan Falun, "I'll tell you a truth: the whole process of cultivation is a process
of constantly getting rid of human attachments." Master also taught us in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago
Conference," "It's fine to have those human things--when you are able to restrain
them in your actions, strengthen your resolve, firm up your righteous
thoughts, and handle yourself well, then that's cultivation." Cultivation is cultivating ourselves. I decided to use this opportunity to
write a report to spread Dafa, expose the evil, clarify the truth, and save
predestined sentient beings. As soon I had this righteous thought, all sorts of
interference appeared, one after another. First, my unrighteous thoughts kept
surfacing, "What if they take you back to prison?" My spouse said,
"The evil is trying to find excuses, and now you are giving them a
reason." Other practitioners said, "You can clarify the truth by
speaking, so the evil will not find an excuse in written form." I
repeatedly compared myself with the requirements of the Fa. I enlightened that
as long as I base everything on the Fa and do it with a pure heart, I would be
fine. I finally wrote a truth clarifying "report" and sent it to the
local police chief. He was startled, "Who told you to write like
this?" I said, "This is my understanding. Humans should live in a
dignified manner." He replied, "How will you benefit by writing
this?" I answered, "Instead of living like a dog that lacks dignity
and enduring the pain of lies, I would rather live like a moral person." He
said, "You can go home now." I looked inside upon returning home.
Although I had stepped out and put myself aside, I was lacking in righteous
thoughts and talked more as a human to another human. I may have not saved
sentient beings. Three months later, the local police chief called me to the station. I
focused my mind and sent forth strong righteous thoughts to disintegrate all the
evil that is used in the persecution. The policeman talked to me very nicely,
"The supervisor will be checking, so please make up two 'reports' and
pretend that you did follow the requirements." I told him that what I wrote
the last time was a very clear statement, and that I could not acknowledge such
a persecution. He was silent for awhile and then said, "Can you copy
another report so that he has two reports on file?" I said that I would
write another report for him. I wrote another truth clarifying "report," emphasizing society's
moral decline, how to distinguish good and bad, kindness and evil, and virtue. I
told them that everyone in society is a victim of this persecution, not just
practitioners who follow "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance." I sent it to
the station the next day. He said, "You have your faith, I have my job, so
let's understand each other." He then asked me if it was true that
practicing Falun Gong can get rid of illnesses. I explained to him from my
understanding. He said, "If it is so good, then why don't you just practice
it at home?" From his change of attitude, I saw another person's conscience
awaken and felt how huge our responsibilities are. 2. Clarifying the Truth and Saving Sentient Beings by Persuading People to
Quit the CCP Whenever I come across predestined people, I expose the Communist Party's
nature through my personal experience, tell them how extraordinary Falun Dafa
has been for me, and the tremendous spreading of Falun Dafa around the world. I
do this to awaken people's original nature and their consciences. The process of
spreading the Nine Commentaries and persuading people
to withdraw from the Communist Party and its related organizations is a process
of examining my understanding of the Fa, whether my righteous thoughts are
strong enough, and whether my sense of responsibility to save sentient beings is
clear enough. Because the CCP has been poisoning the Chinese people with lies and
threatening them with violence, we need to be clear on the Fa-principles, carry
strong righteous thoughts, and be determined to never stop until sentient beings
are saved. I have become more clearheaded and mature in my cultivation practice.
Many people around me have made their three withdrawals, even those just passing
by me on the road. I deeply understand that Falun Dafa practitioners are the
sole hope of sentient beings being saved, and I cannot miss any opportunities. I
need to clarify the truth wherever I go and save sentient beings who are
predestined. The key to doing all these well is to study the Fa more and send
forth righteous thoughts more, so that our wisdom will flow like spring water. Master taught us in "Teaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific
Students," "A Dafa disciple's wisdom comes from righteous thoughts--divine
thoughts..." "When you let go of self even more, your wisdom for validating the Fa
will naturally come forth." In conclusion, please allow me quote Master's words in "The Ukraine Fa
Conference," "Be diligent, Dafa disciples! Although in your cultivation it is
painful to get rid of your human attachments, this path is a sacred one."
