By a Falun Dafa Practitioner in EDong, Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On the night of September 3, 2006, a group of police officers suddenly appeared in front of my door and knocked loudly. When nobody opened up, they started to strike it. I didn't open the door until all the other practitioners had left my home through the side door. The police said as soon as they rushed in, "Someone reported that you had people doing Falun Gong exercises in your home."

They took me into the police van by force, drove me to the local police station, and illegally interrogated me. I did not cooperate. I understood that I was using human thoughts just then as my mind wasn't pure, but still no evil could affect me. I refused to say anything and kept sending forth righteous thoughts. The police handcuffed me and took turns watching me, keeping me from falling asleep.

I recited Lunyu and repeatedly recited "What's to Fear" to eliminate the "fear." Gradually I calmed down. I thought, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner, I'm carrying the important responsibility of saving the world's people. Even if I have omissions, the evil is not allowed to persecute me. I will get out of here to accomplish my mission. But how can I leave here with my hands cuffed together?" Then I figured, "Hasn't Teacher taught in Zhuan Falun that, 'when your Celestial Eye reaches the level of Fa Eyesight, you will find that rocks, walls, or anything can talk to you and greet you.'" I "talked" to the handcuffs, "Handcuffs, you are born to cuff bad people, not cultivators of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. If you open yourself and let me go, you will be a good being in the future." I did this many times during the night, alternating with sending forth righteous thoughts and reciting the Fa.

At about 10 a.m. the next morning, the director of the police station came and told me that they were going to send me to the brainwashing center at Hubei Province Legal System Center. I replied in my heart, "Your words don't count. My Teacher's count." and continued sending forth righteous thoughts unceasingly. When he walked out of the room, he said to the others, "I feel very uncomfortable this morning, as if I've got a bad cold." I knew this was the manifestation of Dafa's dignity, and he was suffering retribution for his wrongdoings.

The bell rang at noon, and the police officers took turns going lunch, but none of them brought anything for me. At 12:30 p.m., a new group of four officers took turns to monitor me, two of whom said that they would lie down and rest. They cuffed my right hand to the headboard of the bed.

As soon as the police officers laid on the bed to rest, I repeated my words of the night before to the handcuffs. In less than a minute, the handcuffs indeed popped open. It was very loud, and two police officers heard the sound and noticed that I had no handcuffs on. They asked, "Where's your handcuff?" I raised my hand and said, "It opened by itself." The two police officers lying on the bed saw it, too. They wondered why as they got up and cuffed my right hand to the bed again.

I understood that Teacher wanted me to walk away when the handcuff opened itself, so I sent forth righteous thoughts immediately and talked to the handcuff again. I added one thought to let the police officers inside and outside of the room all fall asleep. Gradually, all four police officers in the room fell asleep. In less than 10 minutes, the handcuff popped open again with very a slight noise this time. I got up and walked to the door. I pulled the gate, and the burglar-proof gate opened too. It was another miracle, because the police officers locked the gate every time someone went out the door. I locked it, too, after I walked out. At the entrance of the police station, a deputy director was asleep in his chair as well. I calmly and slowly walked out of the police station and merged into the street crowd.

My fellow practitioners, I did not want to write this down as I have had only a very limited education. But when I saw some practitioners being detained and persecuted because of their strong mentality of fear, because of their treating it with human thoughts and without any righteous thoughts, and following the evil's orders while trapped in tribulations, I felt very sad.

In my humble opinion, under the evil persecution, one must recite the Fa a lot to remove one's fear. Without fear, whatever supernormal abilities we have will emerge. We cannot use human methods. The only right way is to eliminate the evil using righteous thoughts and supernormal abilities. Assimilating to "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance," everything has a soul. As long as we have no fear, neither handcuffs, iron gates, high walls nor prisons can keep Dafa practitioners!
