Germany: Two-Day Protest Against the Crimes Taking Place in Chinese Labor Camps (Photos)
By a German practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) German and Chinese Falun Gong practitioners protested
against illegal organ harvesting in China on November 10th and 11th, 2006. For
two consecutive days, they told the people of Bremen about the shocking practice
that was made public six months ago: The Chinese Communist regime's trade in
organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners. The existence of "live organ banks" in the penal camps throughout
China was confirmed by an independent report published by attorney and former
Canadian Secretary of State David Kilgour and Canadian human rights attorney
David Matas. The report was released on July 6th, 2006 in Canada. This report
details comprehensive state-sanctioned murder of Falun Gong practitioners, who
were arrested and detained only because of their belief. Inquiries into the
matter showed that the origins of the organs for the more than 41,000 organ
transplants that were performed in China since 2001 are not available and
couldn't possibly have all come from executed prisoners. It is widely known that in China, organs are removed from executed prisoners
without permission from the prisoner or their family members. The report
confirms that China harvests organs, not only from prisoners slated to die, but
also from living Falun Gong practitioners. This is done totally in secret, is
systematically planned, and is done on a large scale. Given this latest and most horrific form of evil, Falun Gong practitioners
held the two-day protests. The intent was to alert Bremen's citizens and the
media about these crimes. The local citizens were encouraged to sign a petition
that asked for an immediate end to the persecution. Re-enactment of organ harvesting in Bremen A woman from Bremen said on impulse, "I had viewed China's government as
a regime that violates human rights for a long time, but I didn't know about
this. To conduct trade with someone like this shows distorted thinking." The next day, practitioners protested in the northern parts of Bremen, in
Vegesack. A newspaper published news of the protest in the local section. The
title of the article was, "Highlighting brutal organ harvesting." As another goal of the protest, practitioners also asked people to support
them in their quest for an investigation team to have unrestricted access and
the ability to conduct an open investigation in China. To this end, the
Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) has been
formed and already has hundreds of members, including doctors, lawyers, VIPs,
Parliament members, senators and reporters. At this time, efforts are underway
for the establishment of a smaller sized investigation team, with people from
Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. This team will visit China and
carefully inspect slave labor camps, prisons, hospitals and similar detention
facilities. Originally published in German at: http://clearharmony.de/articles/200612/35106.html
