Witnessing the Power of Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I suffered from terminal thyroid cancer, and had even made arrangements for things after my death. Fortunately, I was introduced to Falun Dafa, and in March 1996, I started practicing. Since May 9, 1996, I have not taken a single pill or any other medication, and I am exceptionally healthy. Even my surgeon said, "This is a miracle. There is no medical explanation for this." I am 56 years old, but I feel that I have the energy and vitality of a 20-year-old. I am writing about several amazing things I have personally experienced, for the historical record.

1. One time, I was cooking porridge in a pressure cooker, while studying the Fa next to the stove. I heard a big bang and the pressure cooker exploded. The steam pushed the rubber seal out and the porridge shot onto my legs like a high pressure water gun, and it dripped on my feet. Because the noise from the explosion was so loud, I was stunned and just stood there. But the strange thing is that when the porridge hit my legs, it felt like cold water. Even though my pants were wet from the porridge, my legs and feet did not even show signs of redness. I knew Master had protected me.
2. I had had surgery to remove a thyroid gland, and after the surgery, I always felt there was a hard foreign object in my throat making it very uncomfortable to eat or drink. Three months after I started the practice, I was rushing to the practice site for Fa study. On the way there, I felt there was something in my mouth, like a small piece of stick or something. I spit it out without thinking too much about it. Ever since then, I have not felt that thing in my throat.
3. My mother is over 70 years old, has been bedridden for a long time, and often suffers from diarrhea. In Spring 2004, she again had diarrhea. All the medicine and injections she took did not help. That day, I took her to the hospital in a wheelchair. One the way home, a motorcycle came from behind very fast, and hit the wheelchair. My mother was thrown over ten meters away, and landed face up on the concrete. I shouted to the young man who was riding the motorcycle, "Hey, I practice Falun Gong, I follow Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. I won't cause trouble for you. Please come and help me get my mom back in the wheelchair." The motorcycle was going so fast that it was already 30 meters away. The man said, "Thank you." I said, "No need. Just remember Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good. Everything about Dafa that you see on TV are lies..." He was very thankful. My mother was not hurt at all in this incident. More over, since then she no longer has stomachaches or diarrhea. The hospital did not cure her, it was the compassionate field of Dafa that brought her blessings.
4. In 2005, a residential building caught fire because of old wiring. In just a few moments, the fire spread to the top floor. The roof was almost completely gone. But when the fire reached the home of a practitioner, it stopped automatically. Although she lives on the top floor too, her home was not damaged at all. This practitioner immediately said, "Thank you, Teacher!"
5. In the past two years, I have been reading in "Minghui Weekly" that some fellow practitioners lost their lives from false appearances of illness. I deeply regret it. At such critical moments, one must have righteous thoughts. Do not acknowledge it, do not have doubts, and believe in Master and the Fa 100 percent. There has been sharing from other practitioners, saying that being "full of righteous thoughts" means believing 100 percent and having 100 percent righteous thoughts. The difference between a human and a god is only one thought. My personal experience is that one must completely let go, and not have even the notion of illness. Send forth righteous thoughts to dissolve the dark minions, rotten ghosts and the evil spirit of the Communist Party.
