By a practitioner from Thailand

(Clearwisdom.net) In August 2006, practitioners were invited to perform at the celebration of the Thailand Queen’s birthday. Their performance was very welcomed by the audience and organizers. The organizers said that they would invite practitioners to perform at the King’s birthday celebration again in December.

For the celebration on December 3, practitioners did extensive preparation work. They were also invited to the celebration rally on December 5.

All of this irritated the Chinese Communist Party. They are afraid of the spread of Falun Gong in Thailand, so the Chinese Embassy called the Falun Gong group's contact person in Thailand and threatened him, telling him not to let the group perform at the celebration.

On December 3, the celebration organizers told the practitioners that their performance, which they had practiced and rehearsed for for several months, was canceled.

Practitioners were not moved and remained calm. They attended the rally on December 5. They dressed up and brought a lot of fans to the rally as gifts. Each fan said, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are Good" and "Falun Dafa in Thailand" in Chinese and Thai. They also brought many truth-clarifying materials to the rally.

Facing thousands of people and policemen, practitioners first opened a beautiful banner that said, "Celebrating His Majesty’s 79^th Birthday" in Thai and Chinese. Then they unfurled banners saying "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and "Falun Dafa in Thailand" in both languages. They also set up seven big Falun symbols. These displays attracted many Thais.

Practitioners passed out all the truth-clarifying materials and gift fans quickly. After the king’s motorcade passed by, they got together and started to sing "Falun Dafa Is Good" and "Coming for You" under the banners and Falun symbols. It was like a heavenly stage showing up in front of the Thai people. Many people were amazed. Numerous people took photos. Practitioners kept singing with tears in their eyes, hoping that the kind Thai people would learn the truth of Falun Dafa.

Two Thai ladies asked practitioners if they were from China and took photos with them. Policemen were happy to accept the truth-clarifying materials and the gift fans from practitioners.

Soon, the seven-hour-long rally was over, but the practitioners did not take off their costumes. They held the banners and walked down the street, like they were in a parade. Many people noticed them. Every practitioner was happy that many people became aware of Falun Dafa and learned the truth about it.
