Despicable Tactics Used in Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Guards at Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp used despicable tactics to torture practitioners in attemps to brainwash them. In early July 2006, to cover up their crimes of brutally torturing practitioners, the labor camp held a so-called "assisting education" conference, which was broadcast on TV. They invited several families of the tortured practitioners, who suffered mental trauma as a result of the brainwashing. The labor camp distorted the facts to deceive people and cover up their crimes. The truth is that they tortured practitioners to the edge of death. On the surface, they used those family members to present their efforts as good work.

In Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, the cries and sounds of misery coming from the practitioners who were being brutally tortured and shouts of "Falun Dafa is good" could be heard day and night. Below are only some of the cases of persecution.

Ms. Liu Yuwei, 38, is from Yiyang County. She was sentenced to forced labor for the second time in 2005. Guards at Baimalong Forced Labor Camp tortured her for several months in order to force her to give up her beliefs, but they failed. On May 22, 2005, she was forced to stand for a long time. She was not allowed to use the restroom and was deprived of sleep. Several thugs were assigned to monitor her and try to force her to write the three statements. Under the guards' control, these thugs used all kinds of methods to torture her. They stripped off her clothes and inserted a clothes hanger into her vagina. The hanger got stuck inside her and couldn't be taken out. A month later, Ms. Liu was still unable to walk normally.

Ms. Liao Hong, 33, is from Yueyang City. She was sentenced to forced labor in 2005. She clarified the truth to the guards and did not cooperate with them. She was subjected to beatings and was forced to stand for long hours near a window that was purposefully left wide open. She got freezing cold and became sick. One morning after getting up, she called out "Falun Dafa is good" several times. The guard, Ning, viciously kicked her and sent her to the "restriction division." She was forced to stand for five days and nights. In order to force her to write the three statements, four thugs continuously kicked her like they were kicking a football. Her hands were swollen and red due to the trampling. When she showed her painful hands to the guard on duty, Tan Jie said, "I don't see anything. If you are injured, you can pay a medial expert to examine you." However, they didn't allow her to see a medical expert. The guard in the restricted division, Shi Yongqing, ordered thugs Li Ying from Hengyang, Long Saiping from Yueyang, Huang Yan, and others to strip off her clothes. They pushed her to the ground and poured glue on her. They also poured very cold water all over her.

Ms. Jiang Deying, 56, was a teacher, and later a staff member of Hunan Teachers University. She was arrested on December 21, 2005, by police at Yuelu Police Station in Changsha City. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She was sent to the restricted division at Baimalong Labor Camp and detained in the No. 1 Cell. Thugs Li Ying, Huang Yan and Yi Hongxia did not allow her to sleep or use the restroom. She was forced to stand straight day and night and was constantly kicked. Li Ying pushed Ms. Jiang onto the ground and held her feet to beat her. The guard yelled, "I will beat you to death, even if I have to pay with my life to do it. After all, did you write the statements or not?" Li Ying continued to brutally beat her.

Ms. Zhou Aihua, 56, is from Huaihua County. She was forced to stand straight for 17 days and nights, from March 11, 2006 to March 28, 2006. When she was in a coma, they took her hand and forcibly signed the statement they had already prepared. On May 31 the guards forced a practitioner who had signed the three statements against her will after being brutally tortured to read the statement publicly in front of everyone in the division. They even videotaped the scene. At that time, Ms. Zhou stood up and called out loudly, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." She was quickly dragged away and taken to a separate room at the order of Guard Long Liyun. The division deputy, He Yulian, forced Ms. Zhou to squat down, and ordered Li Ying, Huang Yan, and other thugs to beat her. They took turns beating her with a stool. While beating her, Li Ying verbally abused her. Zhou Aihua called out again, "Falun Dafa is good." Others sealed her mouth and nose and forced her to sign the prepared paper.

Ms. Fu Weijia was forced to stand for many days. Several months have passed and her feet are still swollen and she is still unable to walk normally. Many practitioners have suffered brutal tortures in this labor camp. The following practitioners suffered especially severe tortures: Sui Yuxiang, Liu Kaihua, Yang Changer, Liu Dongxiu, Che Xiaoyang, Guo Mingqing, Lei Jianli, Luo Yufang, Liu Xiaoming, Wang Baihua, and others whose names are unknown.
