Slovakia: City of Myjava Welcomes Falun Gong Practitioners (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, December 9, in Myjava's Stefanik Square,
several Falun Gong practitioners put up a petition table and displays for an
information day in support of human rights. They wanted to raise awareness about
the persecution of Falun Gong in China that has lasted more than seven years. Passersby stopped at the petition table and signed their names in support of
human rights. A photo exhibit depicted scenes of the persecution of Falun Gong
by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). One of the most common questions was,
"Why is Falun Gong persecuted?" People responded positively upon
learning that it was due, for the most part, to the jealousy of the Communist
regime. At the beginning of the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners numbered
more than seventy million people, more than the membership of the Communist
Party. "Give me more flyers, I will spread them along the way," said one
lady. Many people couldn't believe that something like this could be happening
in this day and time, and they readily signed the petition. More than a hundred
signatures were added to the petition during the day.
