(Clearwisdom.net) The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun
Gong (CIPFG) (Asia) held simultaneous press conferences on December 19, 2006 at
six places in Asia. After the press conference concluded in Malaysia, the team
immediately went to the Chinese Embassy to deliver a letter requesting entry
China to conduct an unrestrained investigation of the persecution of Falun Gong.
The Chinese Embassy staff accepted the letter on the spot. Falun Gong
practitioners then expressed their support for the establishment of the CIPFG
(Asia) in front of the Chinese Embassy. They hoped to garner voices for justice
overseas to put an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of
Falun Gong. CIPFG (Asia) press conference in Malaysia Posing for a photo taken after delivering the letter to the

Falun Gong," "Strongly Condemn the CCP's Atrocities of Harvesting
Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners," and banners supporting the
establishment of the CIPFG (Asia). The CIPFG (Asia) in Malaysia held a press conference at 10:00 a.m. in the
conference room of the Federal Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Deputy director of the
team, attorney Edmund Bon and another member of the team, lawyer Chen Meishan
attended the press conference. Attorney Edmund Bon called on the CCP to take
seriously the requests from around the world, and allow the international
community to enter China to investigate the human rights abuses of Falun Gong. Edmund Bon stated, "We hope that the CCP will reply or offer an
explanation regarding the allegations made in the Canadian independent
investigative report on live organ harvesting. As of today, we have not seen
that the CCP make any response or show respect for the allegations in the
investigative report. I think the allegations in the investigative report are
very serious, therefore we are requesting a further investigation." "We once again call on the CCP to respect basic interests of the Chinese
people. We also call on the CCP to really open up all detention centers, prisons
and forced labor camps, to allow the investigators from the UN and the CIPFG
members to contact anyone who has suffered inhuman persecution and been
illegally convicted."
