Mr. Kilgour mainly narrated his "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China", confirming the likelihood of large scale organ harvesting atrocities in China. He called on political leaders across the world, including Italy to unite to stop the inhuman persecution.

MP Vedova and Mr. Taradash gave speeches and condemned the atrocities. They said that the live organ removal is a demon's act. MP Vedova also said he would put forward a motion in Parliament on this issue.

Several media attended the press conference and covered the event.

MP Sergio D'Elia mentioned the persecution of Falun Gong in a motion about China's human rights. He referred to the Canadian independent investigation report and called on the government of Italy to pay attention to China's human rights. The motion was passed on December 12 in the Parliament. More than twenty MPs signed the motion. In its annual report, Hands Off Cain, a non-government organization, mentioned in several places about the persecution of Falun Gong and referred to the Canadian report about the ongoing organ harvesting atrocities in China.
