Eliminating Attachments In Order to Save More Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) Greetings Teacher! I am an eight-year veteran practitioner. No one can change my determination of being a diligent practitioner. I often remind myself to walk straight on my cultivation path until the end regardless of the difficulty.

I frequently studied the Fa and did the exercises with another practitioner. She was quite helpful with me and often pointed out, without hesitation, my attachments. Whenever other practitioners didn't do well in their practice, she always repeatedly reminded them: "We must follow the progress of Fa rectification closely and not lag behind! We should study the Fa even more hence not to let Teacher worry about us." We did the three things that Teacher requested of practitioners. We were never afraid whenever we went out to distribute the truth materials at night or in the rain.

But at 8 p.m., on October 25, seven people from the Beizhen National Security Brigade and the local police station illegally arrested this practitioner. I was shocked when I learned about it. I thought, "She does so well in the practice! What went wrong?" I then realized it was not her personal problem but everyone's. Because most of the practitioners were busy with the farm work at that time of the year, the old forces exploited the gap. I was also responsible for her arrest and I needed to improve myself. However, I never had done Dafa work spontaneously; I always followed that practitioner like a child. Now that she got arrested, I didn't know what to do.

Teacher said, "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference") I was a particle in the Fa and I needed to shoulder her responsibilities. There was nothing to be afraid of when I had Teacher and the Fa with me. So, alone I delivered truth materials and Teacher's new articles to other practitioners. I refused to let the old forces accomplish their goal. Teacher has got everything under control that a noble and open practitioner cannot be beaten.

In the meantime, Teacher's new article, "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil," was published. After experience sharing, everyone realized that we needed to go to the National Security Brigade to send forth righteous thoughts due to this practitioner's arrest. This was a great opportunity to eliminate the evil's nest. Many practitioners went and sent forth righteous thoughts every hour, on the hour. Those practitioners who were not able to go, they still sent forth righteous thoughts but from their homes.

In two days, flyers with the names of the officers who committed the crime were posted on the front door of the public safety bureau, on the telephone booth, the power pole, and both sides of the street. Bystanders saw them and the police did too. The authorities fear exposure. Due to this, practitioners' power through coordination had cut down the evil elements in other dimensions. Hence, the police weren't as brutal as before; they had initially asked the practitioner's family to pay 3000 yuan for her release but now let her go without getting anything in return.

In this process, I saw my inability to rescue that practitioner. During an experience sharing, a practitioner told me that she had memorized almost nine chapters in the book Zhuan Falun and she got about a dozen people to withdraw from the CCP every day. I, on the other hand, continued to stay in the same level and couldn't follow closely the progress of Teacher's Fa rectification. If I had stayed this way by the time the Fa rectifies the human world, there would be so many lives lost because I didn't do well. Consequently, my fellow practitioners, we must study the Fa consistently and shoulder the responsibilities history gave us. We must live up to the expectations from Teacher and the sentient beings.
