Police in Beijing Ransack Homes and Arrest People without Reason

(Clearwisdom.net) Note: The following is a shortened version of a longer and more detailed article that appeared on the minghui.ca website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net).

At 8:00 p.m. on December 15, 2006, several policemen from the Shuangyushu Station in the Haidian District of Beijing stormed into the home of 63-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Shuying. Her home is located in the Third Building of the Daniwan Neighborhood. The police found some Falun Dafa books and threatened her husband (a non-practitioner) that they would arrest him as well. Soon after, they came back again and took their family computer. Ms. Li's husband and their relatives went to the Shuangyushu Police Station to ask why she was arrested and also to request her release. The police said that Ms. Li was taken to Qinghe Detention Center, and that she was not allowed to have visitors. Ms. Li Shuying started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1996, and she received a three-year prison sentence in 2000. She has been under close monitoring since she was released in 2003.
