Details of How Mr. Cheng Huazheng Was Persecuted in Anshun City, Guizhou Province (Clearwisdom.net) Chief of Anshun City Police Station Wang Huan'an; Deputy Chief of the police station Wang Yi; Political Committee member Wang Jiafu; Xu Xinghe and Lou Hua of the National Security Group (formerly known as the First Section of the Public Security Department); policeman Li Shangchao ;and officer Wang Zhong of the East Street Police Station in Anshun City have long been following the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) orders to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
In 2002, several policemen from the former First Section of the Public Security Department, which is now known as the National Security Group, were promoted to higher positions after they spent much effort in persecuting the family of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Cheng Huazheng. The police who succeeded these people wanted to gain political capital and hence continued to persecute the family.
In 2002, Mr. Cheng Huazheng was illegally detained for distributing truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Cheng's wife and his two daughters were later kidnapped by police from the Public Security Ministry and held hostage. The police forced Mr. Cheng to falsely testify that he carried several thousand copies of truth clarification materials. The police then sentenced him and his elder daughter to forced labor.
In the Second Detention Center, Mr. Cheng's elder daughter was tortured. As a result her right leg was disabled. She was later released on parole. Mr. Cheng was detained in the First Detention Center. His wife and two daughters were detained in the Second Detention Center in Anshun City. Several years later, Mr. Cheng was again detained in the Second Detention Center.
In 2003, policeman Lou Hua of the Xixiu District Police Station in Anshun City went to Mr. Cheng's apartment and harassed his daughter: "Your leg is disabled, isn't it? We are not satisfied because we haven't yet broken your leg completely. I will use a jack to break your lock and then pull you from your apartment all the way to the police station on East Street. Don't think that just because you are serving your sentence outside of prison that I can't touch you. I can easily find a reason and take you to the detention center again. I will lock you up in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp. Even if the forced labor camp does not take you, I will force them to detain you, and I will ask the detention center staff to torture you to death. I don't believe that bad deeds can provoke retribution."
Mr. Cheng Huazheng was frequently beaten in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp and became mentally unstable as a result of the beating. His teeth were loosed and most of them fell out as a result of the beatings. He could hardly eat. The internal injuries were so severe that even now he often vomits blood. He is very weak and often falls ill.
On December 2, 2006, Mr. Cheng was secretly detained in the detention center by the police after he went to the East Street Police Station to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. His family was totally unaware of his whereabouts and searched everywhere. The family eventually reported to the police station that he was missing. The police then told them that they had arrested him. Policeman Lou Hua of the National Security Group threatened his family, saying that Mr. Cheng would be sentenced and sent to the forced labor camp.
