Clarifying the Truth With Righteous Thoughts and Actions

(Clearwisdom.net) I am an elderly Dafa disciple. In a recent sharing with fellow practitioners, my deepest understanding was that you must have righteous thoughts when you clarify the truth.

In "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston," Master said,

It is true that you don’t have much fear if you pay close attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. In addition, if you truly believe in Master and Dafa and do things with peace, wisdom and a pure heart, you will not be in any danger. I give a high priority to sending out righteous thoughts in my daily life. Besides the four global times to send forth righteous thoughts every day, I also try to do as much as possible when it is around the top of each hour if I have time. Each time I go out to clarify the truth, I send out righteous thoughts the whole time on my way to the destination. The following are a few experiences I had when I clarified the truth.

Once, when I came out of a building entrance shortly after I finished distributing truth-clarification materials, a person said to me: "You did all this, right? Come on, follow me to the community association." The community association is located right next to that building. I wasn’t nervous and said in my heart: "I'm in trouble now. Master and the righteous gods, please help me." The person went inside the community association office by himself and came out with a female staff member. The woman walked over to me, put her arm around me, and sent me out. She said to me gently: "Auntie, please don’t come again in the future." With Master’s support, I thus left safely with righteous thoughts.

On another occasion, I was clarifying the truth to a woman on the street. I didn’t know there was a plainclothes policeman monitoring me from not too far behind. I talked to her steadily and patiently, but I saw that she was always looking behind me at something. I turned my head and saw the policeman without a uniform. I wasn’t scared and finished talking to her about the truth. I then sent out righteous thoughts as I walked home safely.

One day I clarified the truth to the drivers in the cars on one side of the street. The cars went by one after another. When I talked to one driver, he asked me, "Do you know what I do?" I said, "Regardless of what you do, you need to know the truth." He said, "I'm a policeman." I smiled calmly, "Then you definitely need to listen to the truth." He listened and even agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). At last, when I was about to leave, he said, "Be careful and stay safe."

I sometimes wandered around outside for a long time without meeting a single person. I said in my heart: "Master, I came out to clarify the truth. Please help the people who have predestined relationships with me to come to me." Soon four to five people appeared, one by one, to listen to the truth. They then quit the CCP or its related associations.

There was a period of time when some slanderous phrases about Master and Dafa appeared in public areas in our city. I brought a brush and paint with me and sent out righteous thoughts all the way. I saw one vicious slogan on the back door of a big department store. It was during the day and there were many people around. I walked close to the site, but I could not open the paint can. I said calmly to a young man next to me, "Hello, young man. Please help me to open this can." He didn’t say a word and opened it for me. I took my time, dipped the brush in the paint, and covered the evil slogan. I then left safely, right in front of so many people.
