How Ms. Li Guiqin from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province Was Persecuted Before Her Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Guiqin from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, was taken away by policemen from the Zhengyang Police Station on September 4, 2006. On September 9, the police compelled her to provide information about other practitioners, and when they came to an area of buildings in Jiefangmen, Ms. Li fell out of a building. She died immediately. The detailed information needs further investigation.

Afterwards, Ms. Li Guiqin's son appealed for justice in the case of his mother. But after being coerced and threatened by the Zhengyang Police Station, he hurriedly resolved his mother's death case at a cost of 8000 yuan.

Li Guiqin, in her 50s, was a retired hairdresser who worked for the Industrial and Commercial Bureau in Qiqihar City. In the spring of 2002, to avoid illegal arrest, she became homeless. She once had to hide in an empty house for many days, and survived on dry bread. Later, she worked in a hair salon in the Beidaqiao Area and clarified the truth to customers. After a short time, she worked as a housemaid and took care of a student. The student was mischievous and the school was going to have him dismissed. After being cared for by Ms. Li for some time, he became a good student and was ranked first in his class. Subsequently, people changed their opinion of Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Ms. Li moved from place to place and then worked in a flower shop. She helped the employees there understand the truth and her boss helped her to clarify the truth as well. In 2005, Ms. Li and her husband left home and opened a hair salon, which they operated running until now.

On September 4, 2006, on the way to a fellow practitioner's home, Ms. Li was taken away by Zhengyang Police Station officers. That same afternoon, the police went to their house, confiscated their property, and took her husband away. They then cruelly tortured Ms. Li and her husband. On September 9, police from the Zhengyang Police Station tortured Ms. Li using various cruel means and forced her to provide information about other practitioners. When they came to an area of tall buildings, Ms. Li was strong-armed and fell from a building. She died immediately. Further investigation is needed to confirm the facts.

Her husband, Mr. Fu Zhiming, is currently imprisoned in the Qiqihar City Detention Center. To verify details of his situation, further investigation is needed.

Since August 2006, police from the Zhengyang Police Station in Qiqihar City have again started arresting many practitioners. About ten practitioners were taken away in different arrests. Practitioner Ms. Wang Guirong, an employee in the Cadre School of the Agricultural Bank at Qiqihar City, and her husband, Mr. Tian, were taken away by police from the Zhengyang Police Station, who broke into their home at night. They were cruelly tortured. Ms. Wang's hip was broken from a beating, and she is currently imprisoned in First Detention Center in Qiqihar City.
