Clarifying the Truth When Explaining Why My Child Did Not Want to Join the Communist Young Pioneers
(Clearwisdom.net) My child was admitted to one of the best primary
schools in the city this year. However, we were immediately faced with
having him join the Young Pioneers (which is affiliated with the Chinese
Communist Party) upon admission. I thought about what I should do and how to use
this opportunity to clarify the truth to the teacher. When the first group of students joined the Young Pioneers in September, I
talked to my child's teacher. However, I only briefly told her that my child
would not join the Young Pioneers. The teacher asked why. It was time for class,
so I just said that we didn't believe in Communism. I later mailed
truth-clarification materials to her. The school required every student to join the Young Pioneers. Any class with
students not wearing the Young Pioneers' red scarf lost points in the appraisal
and contest of classes. Soon it was time for the last group of new students to
join the Young Pioneers. The teacher told the Young Pioneers instructor about my
child and set up a meeting for me to get together with her. I immediately asked
the practitioners in the local Fa-study group to help by sending forth righteous
thoughts intensively during the time I was meeting with the Young Pioneers
instructor the next day. I didn't do well in clarifying the truth the previous
time. Now I would meet with the instructor in charge of the Young Pioneers
affairs at the school. I had to eliminate all interference and comprehensively
clarify the truth to her so she could understand both the situation regarding
quitting the Communist Party and its related organizations and the truth of Dafa. The next afternoon, I went to the school and found a quiet place to send
forth righteous thoughts first. I froze her so that she would listen to me. I
said, "Ma'am, my child will not join the Young Pioneers because my whole
family believes in Buddha. You may not understand what this has to do with not
joining the Young Pioneers, but the Young Pioneers is affiliated with the
Communist Party. The Communist Party does not believe in divine beings. It only
believes in itself. It fights with heaven, earth, and human beings. We believe
in God and Buddha. We treat people nicely and don't fight with anyone. Our
belief is completely opposite to Communism. That's why we don't want to join the
Young Pioneers. The Communist Party says that the red scarf is a corner of the
red flag, and indeed it is dyed with the blood of 80 million people who were
killed by the Communist Party." I talked about the unnatural deaths of 80 million Chinese people. I talked
about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. I
talked about the historical prophecies from many countries and how history has
verified the accuracy of those prophecies. I talked about natural phenomena such
as the stone in Guizhou Province with the letters, "Chinese Communist Party
Dies" carved inside, the stone that cried to warn people before a big
incident. I told her that these were signs that the CCP is doomed. Finally, I
talked about Dafa and the CCP's persecution of Dafa. I told her how Nero, the
ruler of Rome, burned Rome to persecute Christians and then Rome suffered from
plagues three times, killing over half the population. The teacher listened to me quietly and didn't answer three phone calls during
this time. In the end, she told me she had never heard of this before and she
had learned a lot. She wanted to get to know me better and talk more about this
in the future. I thanked her for understanding. I told her that if she was troubled because
my child refused to join the Young Pioneers, to please ask the teacher or the
principal to contact me and I would talk to them myself. The teacher smiled and
said goodbye to me. My child was the only one who didn't join the Young Pioneers
in that school. November 25, 2006 |
