On November 16, 2006, the National Security Team in Nangang District of Harbin City took eighteen already detained female practitioners to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. Those practitioners were detained beyond the lawful detention time limit. Most were arrested on August 10. Their terms are eighteen months.

During the past several months, the police arrested over fifty practitioners. More than thirty practitioners were taken to forced labor camps.

On November 12, 2006, staff from the 610 Office, State Security, and police from the Nancang City Police Station arrested over twenty practitioners and took them to a brainwashing center. The center's location is unknown, but we believe it to be close to the Badashanren Museum in the Qingyunpu District. The location is referred to as "510 Hotel."

On November 13, 2006, police from the Longwangmiao Frontier Defense Police Station of Jinzhou District arrested Ms. Li Yuli from the Guchengyiqu community in Jinzhou District of Dalian City. She was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center after one day. Although the arrest warrant showed a five day detention, she has not yet been released.

The Shuangtaizi District Court prosecuted Mr. Wang Fuxing on November 21, 2006.

Ms. Du Xiuying from Hulan District of Harbin City, visited fellow practitioner Ms. Li Wenjie's home at around 9:00 a.m. on November 15, 2006. Half an hour later, two policemen broke into Ms. Li's home. Ms. Li and Ms. Du escaped.

However Ms. Li's husband was put under house arrest and couldn't go to work. On the morning of November 16, practitioner Mr. Sun Hongwei visited Ms. Li Wenjie's home and police arrested her. Mr. Sun's whereabouts are unknown.

On the evening of November 15, police deceived practitioner Mr. Li De into going to Ms. Li Wenjie's home where they arrested him. Mr. Li De's whereabouts are unknown.

Since 2001, staff from the 610 Office and police from the Wangkui County Police Station have extorted large fines from arrested practitioners. Practitioners were fined between 10,000 and 30,000 yuan before they were released. As of November 10, 2006, the police had collected 500,000 yuan.

Just before October 1, staff from the State Security Office of Heilongjiang Province, the 610 Office and police from the Wangkui County police station arrested practitioner Mr. Lv Yafeng, Ms. Chen Xiuying, Ms. Li Hua and Ms. Gao Xueyan. They were detained at the Wangkui County Detention Center. Ms. Li Hua escaped. The other three practitioners were released after paying large fines. One practitioner paid 10,000 yuan and the others 20,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan, for a total of 60,000 yuan.

Practitioner Ms. Lu Xianming is 40 years old. On September 23, 2006, she was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials on Enning Road of the Liwan District. She is detained in the Tianhe Armed Police Hospital. She has been tortured through forced feeding. They used hard tubes.

The Liwan District Court put Ms. Lu on trial at 9:00 a.m. on November 20, 2006.

Ms. Li Tiantian is an elementary school Chinese language teacher in Zhuhai City. Staff from the 610 Office harassed her many times. On the morning of November 2, 2006, police from the 610 Office broke into Ms. Li's dormitory and arrested her. They took her to the provincial brainwashing center in Sanshui City.

On November 9, 2006, police from Xinan Police Station and the National Security Team of Fuyu County ransacked a practitioner's home. The practitioner was not at home. Police ordered her husband to get her to the police station.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Wei is detained at the Jinzhou City Forced Labor Camp. His release date was November 16, 2006. However the labor camp increased his detention by five days.

Practitioners Mr. Zhou Yuanzhi and Mr. Fu Shan are still detained.

Haidian District practitioner Ms. Bo Yufang, in her seventies, was arrested on October 24, 2006. She lives in the air force research personnel residence, Xisanqi Community in Haidian District, Beijing City. She is detained somewhere in the Cangping District.

Her home and her telephone are closely monitored. Her 80-year old husband has diabetes and needs her to go to the hospital for daily injections. He is now alone at home.

On October 2, 2006, police from the National Security Team of Fangshan District and the Dashiwo Town Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Zhou Ruixin and Ms. Guan Xuexian from Fangshan District. Around midnight on November 1, Ms. Zhou and Ms. Guan escaped.

Our sources tell us that there are at least six practitioners detained in the Fangshan District Detention Center, including Ms. Su Xiurong, Mr. Zhang Jiguo, Mr. Shi and his wife, etc. They have all been detained beyond the lawful detention time limit (they have been detained for over eight months since March 2006).

Ms. Liu, close to eighty years old, lives in the Chinese Academy of the Agricultural Mechanization Sciences residence of Xisanqi community in Haidian District, Beijing City. She was arrested in late October 2006 and detained somewhere in the Cangping District. Her home was ransacked.

At around 8:00 p.m. on November 8, 2006, practitioners Ms. Ding Lianshi and Ms. Cao Jianling were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to people at Shangwu Street, Qiaodong District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. Policemen from the Huayuan Street Police Station of Zhangjiakou City arrested them and ransacked their home.

Around 7 a.m. on November 17, 2006, police from the Tuchengzi Police Station, Longtan Police Precinct of Jilin City arrested practitioners Mr. Li Shigang, Ms. Wang Lixin and her husband at home. They took them to the police station.

Officials from Nancang City held a brainwashing class recently where they persecuted practitioners. Family visits were not allowed.

Our sources tell us that practitioners Ms. Cao Suna, Ms. Yu Zhongzhu and Mr. Deng Lianyu have been detained in the detention center in Mouping District, Yantai City since October 16, 2006. They were taken to forced labor camps on November 16.

Practitioner Mr. Wei Min is in his twenties and lives in Zhaozhuang City, Shandong Province. He has suffered a number of different persecution methods. At around 9:00 p.m. on November 1, 2006, police from Shengli Street Police Station in Shizhong District arrested Mr. Wei when he was distributing truth clarification material nearby a flour factory in Junshan Street, Shizhong District. The police also arrested Ms. Zhang Xiaohong (in her thirties). Later, police from the 610 Office of Shizhong District ransacked Mr. Wei's and his mother's home while no one was at home.

Between July 20, 1999 and November 2006, 60 practitioners were taken to forced labor camps, 210 practitioners were detained, and 190 practitioners were taken to brainwashing classes in Pingdu City, Shangdong Province.

So far, 8 practitioners have died from the persecution. They are Mr. Li Jingdong (in his forties), Ms. Yu Guizhen (55 years old), Mr. Xu Zengliang (29 years old), Ms. Zhang Fuzhen (38 years old), Mr. Zhao Mingxiang (46 years old), Mr. Zhang Baolin (39 years old), Ms. Geng Xuezhi (52 years old), and Ms. Bi Xiaoye (35 years old).

Eleven practitioners were taken to mental hospitals even though they were physically and mentally fit. Among them was Ms. Zhang Meiping, a school teacher from Guandi Village, Chengguan Town. Drugs that are harmful to the nervous system were forcibly administered. The staff from the 610 Office extorted large fines from practitioners, totaling over 1.2 million yuan, including some grain. Many practitioners were forced to become homeless.

Police from the Wuxi City Police Station arrested a practitioner from Xizhang District, Wuxi City around November 15, 2006.

On November 1, 2006, police arrested 61-year-old practitioner Ms. Cao Lifan. Police hung her up and deprived her of sleep in an effort to force her to renounce Falun Gong.

Fuyang City practitioner Ms. Gong Guizhu, around 65 years old, was arrested on November 14, 2006 for posting truth clarification materials. She is now detained in the city's detention center. On November 17, another female practitioner in her 60's was also arrested.

Local Police arrested Mr. Dai Hongxiang and Ms. Zhu Juan at their home on November 2, 2006. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Yang Wenmin lives in Taiping Town, Gulin County, Sichuan Province. On the morning of November 14, 2006, police from Xingmin Town, Xishui County, along with Taiping Town Police Station personnel ransacked Ms. Yang's home and took Ms. Yang to Xishui County. They also confiscated some Falun Dafa books and truth clarification materials.

At around 10:00 p.m. on October 28, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wei Dan was arrested by a person paid by the 610 Office, after monitoring her.

On November 10, 2006, police arrested practitioners Ms. Li Zefen and Ms. Cui Deli, both in their 60's, who live in Lihui County, Liangshan Zhou, Sichuan Province, at their homes. On the morning of November 14, retired teacher Ms. Ma Lingxian was arrested by police in her home. They all are now detained in a detention center.

In late October or early November, Dongxihu District practitioner Mr. Zhang Lidang was transferred from the Zhanjiaji to the Qiaokouetou Brainwashing Center. He is still imprisoned.

At 4:00 p.m. on November 17, 2006, twenty policemen from the National Security Team of Mei County, Meizhou City and Fuda Police Station ransacked Ms. Zhang Xiaoyun's home. They didn't find anything and left disappointedly. Ms. Zhang Xiaoyun has been forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution.

On November 2, 2006, police ransacked a truth clarification materials production site in Huaying City. Practitioners Mr. Xiang Lin, Ms. Ding Yuerong, and Mr. Zeng Geping were arrested and detained in the Huaying City Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Xu Long is a 38-year-old medical doctor who lives on Shangxin Street, Nanan District, Chongqing City. On the morning of November 12, 2006, Mr. Xu was beaten and arrested by someone who claimed to be a State Security policeman, at Hanwei Road, Yuzhong District. On November 13, Mr. Xu's home was ransacked. Although nothing was found in his home, Mr. Xu was not released and is still detained in the Liudianzi Detention Transfer Center in Yuzhong District. Mr. Xu is currently on hunger strike to protest the unlawful persecution.

Practitioner Mr. Zou Yugui works in the Yitulihe Real Estate Division of the Railway System at Yitulihe Town, Inner Mongolia Province. On the afternoon of November 14, 2006, police officers Qu Jingping and Liu Tao from the Railway System Police Station of Hailaer City, Inner Mongolia, ransacked Mr. Zou Yugui's home and took Mr. Zou to the police station. They also confiscated Mr. Zou's cellphone.
