Clarifying the Truth to Chinese Tourists in Malaysia
(Clearwisdom.net) Greetings Respected Master! Greetings Fellow Practitioners! Looking back at my obtaining the Fa, and my self cultivation
before participating in Fa-rectification, clarifying the truth and
assisting Master in Fa-rectification, the most honorable and meaningful event in
my life is becoming a Fa-rectification Dafa disciple. I am willing to let go of
all attachments, to safeguard Dafa with my life, remain steadfast in Dafa and to
follow Master back home by reaching Consummation. Master says in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference": "You need to be clear that a Dafa disciple's cultivation is about
stepping out of humanness; it is to step out of the old colossal firmament
that is restrained by all kinds of factors that result from endless,
countless, innumerable beings in this old cosmos; it is to gain a new life,
emerging from an environment that is at the last of the last stage of the
formation-stasis-degeneration-destruction process of the colossal firmament.
Who can step out of all of this? To escape everything and be able to truly
enter the future is indeed very hard. As a matter of fact, the difficulties
you've run into cultivating amidst the persecution are manifestations here
among humans. But in reality, in other dimensions that the world's people
can't see and that are beyond this environment of ordinary people, things are
even more intense. It is the shocking and soul-stirring process of immense
disintegration and reintegration. The entire cosmos's beings are watching this
affair, and countless, measureless gods are also watching. Encompassed in all
of these changes are the factors of Dafa disciples validating the Fa. What are
displayed in the human world are the Three Things that you're doing at this
time. As for the behavior of the evil, that's it [acting] in an irrational,
crazed state before its disintegration, and it provides Dafa disciples with
the conditions to reach Consummation." Being purified by the Fa, I have clearly realized the honor of being a Dafa
disciple in the Fa-rectification period. Shouldn't we be more diligent?
Shouldn't we be stricter and more responsible to ourselves and Dafa? I
enlightened that to do well with the Three Things, I have to make my
best effort in studying the Fa, reading Master's new articles, and listening to
Master's lectures so that we can completely understand the Fa. We also need to
take action, as part of a genuine cultivation practice. With my family, my work,
and in clarifying the truth, I have met with different types of people. When
xinxing conflicts occur, I know that I have to search within and
temper myself, improve my xinxing, get rid of all attachments, and break through
all interference. We need to walk out of humanness to transcend beyond, fulfill
our historical vows, and accomplish our sacred mission. Below is my understanding from the Fa during my activities in clarifying the
truth to Chinese tourists: In Malaysia, there is a well-known tourist site called Batu Caves, where most
tourists visit. It is not far from my home. There are several restaurants there
where tourists from China often stop for lunch. A few of us practitioners take
turns going there to clarify the truth, distributing fliers, and give out copies
of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Chinese tourists who have lunch in the restaurants are of various backgrounds,
including high ranking officials, ordinary cadres, Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
members, police, doctors, teachers, students, workers and so on. Every day we
clarify the truth and distribute fliers to them. Many secret agents closely
monitor everything that is happening. Under the scorching sun, it is a good
opportunity to test one's xinxing. Simply having a heart of compassion is not
enough to allow a person to persist in that environment; one needs to maintain
strong righteous thoughts. A person could not make it unless he or she
cultivates the universal Fa of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. A few years ago the evil was quite rampant, and only a few people dared to
approach us to take fliers. Everyone walked away from us once they got off the
bus. Some people quickly ran into the restaurant and were afraid to look back.
We practitioners were anxiously worried about them. We were only able to send
forth righteous thoughts while looking at their backs, eliminating the evil
interference within them, and hoping Master's compassion would save them. We
stood there and sent forth righteous thoughts quietly. After a period of time,
some people would come out to smoke or walk around after finishing lunch, but
some people left in a hurry. However, some would immediately read the fliers as
soon as they got it from us. While reading the fliers, they would ask us
questions. Every now and then, one whose mind was polluted by the lies of the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would ask me, "How much do you get paid a
day?" He would slander Master and Dafa. Immediately, I would firmly say,
"That is absolutely not so! Our Master is very righteous. We cultivate in
Dafa, and all practitioners around the world put theirs hearts into saving
people. It is the CCP that pays thugs to kill!" He would quietly go away. I
also knew this was Master's compassion, "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of
gong is done by one's master." (Zhuan Falun) In fact, I still have a lot of human notions and habits, attachments to
complacency, fear of standing under the scorching sun and so on. These
attachments cause my moods to swing up and down. Sometimes I encountered those
who were indifferent, who refused to take fliers or who didn't care enough to
ask any questions. My deeply concealed human thoughts would surface: "Under
the scorching sun, we clarify the truth and distribute fliers in order to save
you. Yet you don't appreciate all this!" I turned from anxious to angry,
and my xinxing was out of control: "I want to go home and take a good
rest!" However, on second thought, if I did that, wouldn't the evil be very
happy? Wouldn't those people lose the chance to understand the truth and be
saved? No! I am a Dafa practitioner, and I cultivate
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Where is my
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? Thinking of this, I would not give up.
Those people, under the CCP's propaganda and control, did not have clear minds.
If I didn't give them the opportunity to understand the truth, they would be
weeded out in the Fa-rectification. Looking at the busy Chinese tourists walking
to and fro, my compassion once again took charge. I then persisted in clarifying
the truth and distributing the fliers to save sentient beings. With my righteous
thoughts strengthened through constant study of the Fa, I am confident that I
will fulfill my historical vows. With Master's articles and guidance, and with practitioners around the world
frequently sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth, I can
sense that the evil is getting weaker. It was just like what Master wrote in "Sweep Away" (Hong Yin II): Dark clouds pass, winds remain strong The evil cannot control sentient beings anymore, as their clear sides are
eager to learn the truth. On one occasion, four teachers from China lead a group
of young students sightseeing. I know that the CCP forces students in China to
slander Dafa in their examinations; if they don't slander Dafa, the students
fail the test and they are then denied opportunities for further education. The
CCP wants to drag more people to hell and get weeded out. I know I should help
them learn the truth, and only then will they know the different between justice
and evil. After finishing sending forth righteous thoughts, I went in front of
those teachers and said, "Are you teachers? Please learn about Falun
Gong." My righteous thoughts were strong without human thoughts and I gave
the fliers to one of the teachers. She quickly walked to the front door of the
restaurant and eagerly flipped through the fliers while waiting for the bus.
When the students saw that their teacher took my fliers, they also took fliers
from me when they walked passed me. Some students walked over and asked me,
"May I take these?" I replied, "Sure, no problem." I gave
them the fliers. They eagerly read the fliers once they boarded the bus. Some
students waved to me with respect. Looking at the sentient beings that are
anxious to be saved, I clearly understood the urgency of clarifying the truth.
The more people who know the truth, the fewer places the evil has for hiding,
and the faster the evil gets eliminated. In addition to Chinese tourists polluted by the CCP's propaganda, many local
tour guides have also deeply misunderstood Dafa after reading local newspapers
that slander Dafa. The old forces make use of these tour guides to prevent
Chinese tourists from learning the truth. When these tour guides spot us, they
always look fierce. Some would make jokes about me. However, some Chinese tour
guides are even worse. As soon as the tourists get off the bus, the Chinese tour
guides stare at them to stop them from taking any fliers. I send forth righteous
thoughts while handing out fliers. I greet the tourists with a smile when I meet
them. I often say to them, "Falun Dafa is good!" Master said Dafa
disciples have supernormal abilities, and we would first put these words into
their minds and sow the seeds of compassion. In these years, I have always kindly clarified the truth, and the power of
compassion has influenced them little by little. Some tour guides began to greet
me and would say, "Falun Dafa!" and I added "..is good!"
Some also began to accept my fliers, CDs and they would even ask for the latest
materials. Some even joked with me, saying "I want to practice too!"
They told the Chinese tourists that it is fine to read the fliers here but don't
bring any back to China. Even though the environment has improved a little, some
evil still exists, which is my responsibility to eliminate. Master says in "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S.
Capital": "So it's exactly because right now there are many things that need to
be done and many people are still not aware [of what's really going on] that
we have the situation we are seeing today and there is a need for you to do
things. And the changes to this state are in turn inseparable from everything
that Dafa disciples are contributing as they clarify the truth and save
sentient beings. Of course, the effect of the Fa-rectification's situation is
part of it too, but if the Dafa disciples don't all clarify the truth to
individual people, or clarify the truth to society, then as for the process of
ordinary people's minds being transformed at the surface level, that's not
something gods will do for them on an individual basis. So things that involve
the surface level of human beings have to be done by Dafa disciples." Master also says, "As a Dafa disciple in this society, no matter what kind of setting or
corner of society you find yourself in, you are playing a positive role.
Regardless of whether you are clarifying the truth and validating the Fa or
doing things not so directly connected to Dafa, you are nonetheless saving
sentient beings and are playing huge roles (applause), and that is because
your righteous thoughts and compassionate field are having a positive
effect." It was just like what Master said, "I hope that you will do even better in the time ahead" Fellow practitioners, let us be more diligent and do better in carrying out
the Three Things. Countless sentient beings are expecting us to save them, and
sentient beings in our world are also expecting us to return home upon reaching
Consummation. The above are my personal understandings; please kindly point out anything
