Local CCP Official Arrests a Retired Engineer and Destroys His Family

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Xie Deqing, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was a retired engineer who worked in the Hydraulic Research College of the Chengdu Survey and Design Institute. Because he practices Falun Dafa, the local community CCP office sent him to a brainwashing center. His wife was forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home. His daughter-in-law was harassed and threatened until she passed away. At present, Mr. Xie is on the verge of death.

Mr. Xie Deqing, 65 years old, lives at 188 Qingjiang East Road, Chengdu City Sichuan Province. On September 19, 2005, Yin Yun, the Director of the Comprehensive Control Office of the Funan Administration Office of the Qingyang District notified Mr. Xie and his wife to come to the office on September 20 to discuss the issue of their son's employment. The next day, Mr. Xie went there. As soon as he stepped into the office, a group of uniformed and plainclothes officers arranged by Yin Yun arrested him. They sent him to the brainwashing center in Xinjin County where he was severely persecuted and is now on the verge of death.

Mr. Xie's wife, also a practitioner, was in her hometown and thus escaped the arrest. At the moment, the perpetrators, including Yin Yun, have received orders from the Party Committee in the local district to send her to the brainwashing center as well. She has been forced to become homeless to avoid being captured and suffers from hunger and cold.

Mr. Xie's daughter-in-law had a very serious disease. The Party members and the local police did not loosen their control of her. They threatened, followed and monitored her. Because of the continuous harassment from the police and the perpetrators, she broke down both physically and mentally. Her passing away on November 24, 2005, tore her previously happy family apart.
