Doing The Three Things Well and Assisting Teacher in Saving Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in June of 1998. Not long after I started to practice, my various diseases all disappeared. After the nationwide crackdown against Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, I was sentenced to a one-year imprisonment for clarifying the facts to the people in Tiananmen Square, Beijing.

The first thing I did when I got out of the forced labor camp was to clear the environment around me and make way for doing the three things well. It was quite difficult at the beginning, because four policemen were assigned to keep me under house arrest 24 hours a day. They didn't allow me to leave my home. Later, after constantly clarifying the truth to them on a daily basis, the policemen let me leave my home, but they still had to escort me on a motorcycle each time I went out and returned. This made it very difficult for me to clarify the facts to others.

Thus, I went directly to the township government officials' office to clarify the facts to them. As time passed, each time I went there, they would say that Falun Dafa came to educate them again. They also began to treat me more politely. They said to me: "Come whenever you like. We like to listen to you."

Because of my efforts, the environment became much more relaxed, so I started to clarify the facts to more people with the help of other practitioners. Initially a lot of the truth-clarification posters were quickly torn down, but I learned to send righteous thoughts before I posted them. I said to the posters in my mind, "You must make your contribution to Dafa." As a result, the posters would stay there for quite a long time.

After the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I began distributing them around and guided people to renounce the evil Chinese Communist Party. I saw that, due to fear, some practitioners just left the Nine Commentaries and others took the materials anywhere. To me, it was a waste of materials and might not be effective. So I began distributing the materials to people face to face. I gave the first copy of the Nine Commentaries directly to the head of the township government and a second copy to the head of the police station and clarified the truth to them as well. Although there was certain difficulty and risk involved in doing this, with the power of Teacher and the cultivated wisdom of a practitioner, I came through.

I didn't have a high level education and could only read simple characters, but with regard to guiding people to withdraw from the evil party, I believed in Teacher and Dafa. I use the wisdom of a cultivator, as well as the wisdom of an everyday person when I clarify the facts to people face to face. For instance, when I go to people's houses to guide them to renounce the party, I say, "I am here to help you not need insurance. The insurance available in society can only insure your money, not your life. Mine, however, insures both and it is free." As a result of my efforts, there are nearly a hundred people so far who have withdrawn from the evil party.

The above is only a small experience in my cultivation. Only by doing the three things well can we assist Teacher in saving sentient beings.
