By a practitioner in Jiayi

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 21, 2006, practitioners in Jiayi held the "Journey of Falun Dafa" Photo Exhibition in Alishan, the renowned tourist site. Many tourists viewed the exhibition, which will continue until February 12. During the New Year vacation, many tourists from Mainland China came to see the sunrise on the mountain. They came to the exhibition in curiosity to view the photos. Mr. Chuang, host of the exhibition, said, "The business people here have said that there were few tourists from the mainland during New Year over the last few years. But these days there are many." The exhibition was first held at the beginning of September 2005 in Taipei and has been exhibited across all cities and counties in Taiwan. It has been well received.

The exhibition shows 126 photos about Falun Gong, the persecution, and practitionerssteadfast belief in Truth, Compassion and Tolerance.

A guide explains the fact of the persecution to tourists from Mainland China

A group of tourists from China viewed the photos. Pointing at the photos showing a practitioner who was tortured by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a guide asked them what they thought. Some of them did not speak. Some shook their heads. The guide told them earnestly, "Please remember that Falun Gong is great."

A tea shop owner came to view the photos and was surprised to see a photo showing two police holding a practitioner down and inserting a feeding tubing into his nose. "How can he live being force-fed water through his nose? The CCP is so evil." Three students viewed a photo showing a Falun Gong orphan and asked some questions. A female student said indignantly, "All these [atrocities] are because of Jiang Zemin. He is so evil."

A gentleman from Taipei saw the photo showing a large-scale group photo of practitioners and said, "So many people practice Falun Gong! At least ten thousand!" He said he knew Falun Gong is good. He selected some introductory literature to bring back to his neighbors.

The exhibition was held outdoors. Mr. Chuang said, "Many tourists from the mainland viewed the exhibition. They were not just viewing. Their mind was clear who're good and who're bad. One tourist secretly torn off the cover of the book "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and then put the book in his pocket. "
