Hamilton, New Zealand: "Validating the Fa Photo Exhibition" Opens

(Clearwisdom.net) February 6, 2006 is Waitangi Day in New Zealand. People in Hamilton hosted many events to celebrate the establishment of the Treaty of Waitangi, which brought peace to New Zealand.

Morning showers vanished quickly, and the day then turned beautiful and sunny. At noon, the city square was packed with tourists and local residents. Visitors enjoyed the Maori cultural performances and native foods, and appreciated all kinds of Maori cultural art crafts at different booths.

Among the booths, a very unique show attracted many people. It was the Falun Dafa practitioners' "Validating the Fa Photo Exhibition." Some young people learned the five exercises while some came back and forth many times to view these important pictures. Many people were shocked by the fact that the Chinese Communist regime is brutally persecuting Falun Dafa.

A lot of people expressed their gratitude to the organizer of the exhibition for showing them the facts of Falun Dafa. In addition, during the show, more and more tourists from Mainland China discussed the facts of the persecution against Falun Dafa in China and about quitting the Chinese Communist Party.

People in succession came to appreciate the exhibition, including Governor-General Dame Silvia, Mayor of Hamilton Mike and their entourage. Dame Silvia also accepted a Falun Dafa facts booklet and commended the exhibition. Prime Minister Helen Clark visited a similar photo exhibition held in the north coast of Auckland last week.
