A 71 year-old Lady Experiences a Miraculous Health Recovery After Practicing Falun Gong for Six Months

(Clearwisdom.net) I am 71 years old and have been practicing Falun Gong for six months. Starting in 1995, I discovered that I had diabetes, rheumatism, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, bronchitis, urethritis, gallstones, prominent protrusion of the lumbar vertebra, and other health problems. It became very difficult for me to walk even a single step. I took a lot of medicine, but these did not help. I frequently needed to check into a hospital for medical care. I have no idea how much money I spent on medical treatment. Finally, I gave up. All the illnesses made me feel that living was worse than dying. I felt that I would die before the year was over.

Last April, when my pain was excruciating, my daughter heard that practicing Falun Gong could cure my illnesses. She asked me if I wanted to practice. I said, "If it can cure my illnesses, I will." Thus, I started my cultivation. I recited "Falun Dafa is great, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great" every day. I did the standing exercises three times and the sitting exercises three times daily. Whenever I had time I would listen to Teacher's Dafa lectures tapes or watch the video tapes. I was so busy learning Falun Gong that I often ate only soup, I did not wish to take the time to eat more.

One month later, all of my illnesses were healed and I did not need any more medicine. What a miracle! For the first time in my life I felt the joy of being disease-free. My daughter said excitedly: "Mom, it is so good. Falun Gong is so good; it is indescribable! If we did not practice Falun Gong ourselves, how could we believe that there is such a good cultivation practice in the world?" As my daughter spoke, tears gushed out of her eyes. I, too, was extremely moved touched, and shed tears many times.

I thank our compassionate Master for saving my life. Since then, my daughter also started to practice Falun Gong. Her depression and hemorrhages are nearly gone. I often say: "If I did not practice Falun Gong, I cannot imagine how much more medicine I would have had to take, how much more pain I would have had to bear, and most importantly, I may not have even lived. Now, not only do I have good health, take no medicine, and walk swiftly, but I am also able to do all my chores without any difficulty."

I sincerely hope that everyone can have a chance to encounter Falun Gong. I encourage you to try to understand Falun Gong, and practice Falun Gong. It offers you good health, and also provides salvation. Don't be fooled by the deceptive propaganda! If possible, you, too, should give Falun Gong a try. Like me, you may also experience the miracle and power of Falun Gong.

Finally, once again, I would like to pay my highest respects to our great compassionate Teacher!
