(Clearwisdom.net) At a recent experience sharing, a practitioner asked a question. He said Teacher had mentioned in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco 2005," that our environment has improved. Then why do they still arrest practitioners in our area? I felt that the question itself showed insufficient righteous faith in Teacher and Dafa. This is a result of not enough in-depth Fa study. It also shows that practitioners understand Teacher's teachings with their human mentalities. Although only a few practitioners raised this question, many of us deep within our mind may hold it as well. I would like to share my understanding on this issue.

In "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco 2005," Teacher answered the question very clearly. Instead of studying the Fa more with a calm mind, we ask fellow practitioners about this issue. This clearly shows that we did not study the Fa diligently enough and that we lack righteous faith in Teacher and the Fa. I suggest that those who have questions memorize this part of Master's teaching. We cannot take the Fa out of context or understand it with human notions. The old forces are monitoring our thoughts. The biggest excuse for them to persecute practitioners is that we have loopholes in our thoughts. We need to look inward when our fellow practitioners are persecuted, yet we look outward sometimes. The root cause for such questions is a lack of righteous faith in Teacher and the Fa. We really should be looking at where those unrighteous elements come from. Fa-rectification is pushing toward the final stage, and the closer we are to the end, the more important it is to have a firm belief in Teacher and the Fa. If we do not pay attention to our cultivation and are not taking cultivation seriously, the evil will find excuses to persecute us. If we do not take these issues seriously and don't change fundamentally, it will become an insurmountable tribulation on our path during the final stage of our cultivation. It will also be a huge obstacle in reaching Consummation.

I can understand that practitioners hope for an end to the persecution because they have suffered for more than six years. I too am right in the middle of it. We need righteous faith in Teacher and Dafa in order to face this brutal environment and do the three things we are supposed to do. We need to study the Fa well in order to do that. We should know that everything we need to know can be found in the Fa. If we do not study the Fa well, we will look at issues with human mentalities. Maybe we misunderstand the Fa and consequently might not have confidence in Teacher's teaching and will go astray. During the past six years, how many practitioners went astray because they did not study the Fa well? All these lessons, losses and interferences should have awakened us.

Our thoughts govern everything we say and do. Someone who has completely assimilated into the Fa with righteous thoughts will seize the time to clarify the truth and save people, since the environment has improved. On the other hand, when some practitioners heard that the environment became worse, they started to protect themselves above all else. They developed fear and discontinued their truth clarification efforts and adopted a "wait and see" approach. What a difference there is in these two responses!

Our cultivation environment will improve when we let go of our human mentalities and attachments to life and death, and clarify the truth. Compared to last spring, the environment in our area has improved tremendously. The evil has become less and less. The persecution happened in an isolated area in a hidden manner. More and more truth clarification materials production sites are being created, as well as more group study and group exercise sites. Through our collective efforts, more and more people have quit the Chinese Communist Party and more and more people now know the facts about Dafa. Now when we go out to distribute materials and clarify the truth, we do it in an open and dignified manner, without the fear that we felt previously. All this is evidence that, as Teacher said, our environment has indeed improved. Teacher has already seen the tremendous changes that are happening. He is just encouraging us. How can we use an isolated incident to question Master's teaching?

As we approach the final period, it is important that we study the Fa with a calm mind and look at new situations from the standpoint of the Fa. It is wrong to understand the Fa with a human mentality, which would be a big loophole. Only when we make sure that each one of our thoughts are based on the Fa, can we walk the remainder of our path righteously.
