By a practitioner in Northeast China

(Clearwisdom.net) As practitioners, we should keep the Fa in our hearts and always regard the Fa as the highest priority. Only by judging everything with the Fa can we walk our cultivation path well.

Following the start of the vicious persecution in 1999, I was forced to quit my job. I went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. My family, coworkers and friends all were quite worried about me. To them, I had lost everything. Though many people felt bad about it, I had no regrets. I was only thinking of the Fa, and I was doing what I was supposed to do. That was my understanding at that time.

Not long after, I went to work in a private company with a very low starting salary. Because I was a practitioner, I disciplined myself according to the Fa.

"Since learning Falun Dafa, these employees come to work early and go home late. They do diligent and conscientious work, they're never picky no matter what work their supervisors assign them, and they've also stopped fighting to benefit themselves." (from Zhuan Falun)

With the Fa in my heart, I judge things using the Fa's requirements rather than using human mentalities. Pretty soon my boss raised my level and salary again and again until it was the highest in the company. Moreover, my boss trusted me very much, and nothing could change his opinion.

When I was preparing truth-clarification materials, someone noticed it and told my boss. My boss told me to pay more attention to safety and criticized the other person. My boss also takes the initiative to help me introduce Dafa to other people. All our clients know I practice Falun Gong and know I am a very good person. To other people, this seems almost impossible since my boss is known to be selfish and hard to get along with. I feel that Dafa is powerful and can solve everything. However, when we do not consider things from the Fa but instead regard ourselves as everyday people, the dignity of Dafa will not manifest.

My job requires a lot of time, but it does not affect my Fa-study. I spend one hour going to work, during which I usually recite the Fa. I will recite one lecture on the way to work, and one lecture on the way home from work. In this way, my mind is always filled with the Fa.

Teacher said,

"Our way of practice is one where the Law refines the person, and in practices where the Law refines the person, certain states will arise from his gong and Law, so in the course of practicing, different cultivation states come about at different levels." (Zhuan Falun)

The Fa principles came to my mind naturally through Fa-study. Many attachments are also weakened accordingly. In this way, I am able to keep up with Fa-rectification. From this angle, I am able to understand why Teacher has repeatedly asked us to study the "Fa" more. The old cosmos is in the process of upgrading, and the path we are walking is to create the future. If our minds are not in the Fa, how can we create things in the process of Fa-rectification? If we are following principles from the old cosmos, we would be trapped by it. When our minds are in the Fa, we are creating the future and nothing can restrict us--because we are immersed in Dafa.

I am currently running a business and I am faced with many issues that should be considered from the perspective of Fa-rectification. We are facing a vicious persecution and we should not acknowledge it, especially any financial persecution. During the Fa-rectification period, Dafa disciples should have the best situation to save sentient beings. The reason for working is not to have a better life for ourselves nor is it to meet a basic living standard, but it is to have a better condition to save sentient beings. I began with nothing and with minimal resources I achieved fairly good growth. As I look back, it would have seemed almost impossible from an everyday person's point of view. Many of our employees are also practitioners and they are cultivating, transcribing the Fa, reciting the Fa, and making judgments according to the Fa.

On one occasion when I was working with a client, one of our products that cost about 1,000 yuan was missing. We realized that it was interference. After examining ourselves for our own problems (pursuit of interest or zealotry), we sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the interference. With compassion in our hearts we also hoped that the person who stole the product would stop and not commit more crimes. On the other hand, based on everyday society's principles, we also reported it to the police. In this way, although this product was unlikely to be retrieved using an everyday person's way of thinking, our client said on the following day that they had found it.

Dafa can change everything in a positive direction, into something good or better. The way we run our company is to evaluate everything from the Fa. By keeping our thoughts in the Fa, our surroundings will also change in a positive direction. In this way, we can walk our path better and create a brighter future.
