Six Dafa Practitioners from Tianjin, Henan, and Shanxi Passed Away Due to Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net)Ms. Li Yuzhen, 67 years old, is a Dafa practitioner from Sicundian village, Sicundian township, Wuqing district, Tianjin City. On February 26, 2000, she was arrested from an experience sharing conference in Xiatian village, Baigutun township. Later on, she was transferred to the Sicun Township Police Station and detained there. She was also detained for 15 days in the Wuqing Police Station. Six days later, after conducting a hunger strike to protest the persecution, she was transferred to the No. 9 department of the Tianjin Police Station for further persecution. After that, her family bailed her out. However, Qin Guangqiang, a local policeman, continually harassed her and disrupted her life. Under constant pressure from the police, Ms. Li's family members tried to make her stop practicing Falun Dafa. The enormous mental pressure, compounded with physical torture injuries, caused her to pass away on October 29, 2003.

Wang Yanbin was over 50 years old. She was a well-respected teacher at the Chengguan No. 3 Middle School in Ruyang County, Henan Province. On July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. Upon returning home after an appeal, the police began to monitor her. In the beginning of 2000, she was illegally fined 4000 yuan simply because she handed out truth-clarifying materials. In February 2001, Ms. Wang was detained for two months after being discovered with practitioners in her home sharing experiences. Ms. Wang Yanbin was harassed and threatened by the local 610 Office and the police for years, until she became ill and passed away on January 26, 2003.

Xue Qiyun, a 75-year-old Dafa practitioner from Shanxi Province, obtained the Fa in June of 1996. Before obtaining the Fa, Xue Qiyun had all kinds of illnesses, such as chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and others, which rendered her immobile. After obtaining the Fa, she was very diligent in Fa study and doing the exercises, and she completely recovered from her illnesses. She could then go out and do some field work. After July 20, 1999, Ms. Xue was harassed and threatened by the police several times and became ill again. She passed away on May 14, 2004.

Mr. Dong Fang was a 62-year-old retiree from the Gongpengzi Grand Depot of Fuyu County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. Mr. Dong obtained the Fa in 1996. After July 20, 1999, he was harassed whenever there was a sensitive date on the Community calendar. The police from the local police station, especially Zhang Weimin, harassed him a lot. Dong Fang lived in dread and fear every day. Finally, he passed away in 2003.

Ms. Duan Sili, over 70 years old, lived in South Gate, Changsha City, Hunan Province. After July 20, 1999, she was harassed by the police station, the college administration, the residential committee, and the street committee. Ms. Duan was placed under severe duress and lived in fear for a long time. She passed away in her home on the fourth day after the Lunar New Year.

Ms. Wang Huiqin was a 56-year-old Dafa practitioner from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. In 2003, the police ransacked her home and illegally arrested her. She was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. Due to her high blood pressure, Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin refused to accept her. She was bailed out on October 22, 2005. Later she died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
