People Receive Retribution for Causing Harm to Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Zhao Shumin, Deputy Section Chief of the Qihe Police Department in Shandong Province, Dies in an Auto Accident

Zhao Shumin was a deputy section chief in the Qihe Police Department, Shandong Province. She was a very mean person whom everybody detested. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, she actively persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. She fabricated evidence to be used to sentence seven or eight practitioners to forced labor and she personally took these practitioners to the labor camps.

On April 7, 2005, Dafa practitioner Huang Yuping was illegally sentenced to forced labor. Zhao Shumin forced the leader and accountant in Huang's workplace to go with her to take Huang Yuping to the labor camp. The camp initially refused to take Huang Yuping, but Zhao forced Huang's workplace to pay 5,000 yuan to the labor camp, which then accepted Huang. On that day, lunch costs were also paid by Huang's workplace.

About 10 days later, Zhao Shumin and three other people were driving two teenage offenders to a labor camp. On the way, their car went under a big truck and was completely smashed. Except for one person who was thrown out of the car, all other three people including Zhao Shumin died on the spot. Zhao was only 48 years old.

Zhang Peijun, Head of Shenjia Village in Shandong Province, Receives Retribution

Zhang Peijun was the head of Shenjia Village, Tangezhuang Town, Laiyang City, Shandong Province. He has been following the Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Whenever a practitioner was arrested, he or she was forced to pay 5,000 yuan. Zhang Peijun then pocketed part of the money.

In May 2005, Zhang Peijun went to Laiyang City to do business. On the way there, he was beaten by someone. As a result, he suffered from fractures and remained in a coma for more than one month. Even now he still cannot take care of himself and has a mental disability.
