75-Year-Old Woman Practitioner Facing Unlawful Sentence

(Clearwisdom.net) A 75 year old Falun Dafa practitioner, Zhu Yuezhen, from Jinan City, Shandong Province was once again illegally arrested, and faces an imminent sentence. Ms. Zhu was arrested on December 1, 2005, while she was walking along a road, and was held in a detention center in Jinan City.

Ms. Zhu is 75 years old and lived at a Retirement Center for Military Officials near a railroad hospital. She suffered from rheumatism, a stomach ulcer and many other ailments. Whenever it rained her pain became unbearable. She started to practice Falun Gong in March 1995, and after one week she no longer felt pain. After six months all her ailments disappeared. Through practicing Falun Gong, her hearing and eyesight also improved.

On September 27, 2004, she went to Erxian Village, Zhonggong in Jinan City to clarify the truth and distribute informational materials. Before she finished, she was arrested and taken to the police station for interrogation, and all the materials and VCDs she still had were confiscated. In the afternoon, police took her to the detention center at the Xiqinglong Police Station and detained her there overnight. At about 9 a.m. the next day they sent her to the "Law Training Center" of Jinan City (i.e. the local 610 Office brainwashing center). She was detained on the third floor and not allowed to come down for meals. She was shut behind a metal door and had to knock on the door when she needed to go to the bathroom. The lawless police took her calling card and senior identification when they searched her house.

On May 4, 2005, when she was again distributing informational materials and amulets in the Botanic Garden of Jinan City, she was apprehended by the park police and arrested. She was taken to Qianfoshan Police Station and detained there for 24 hours. The next day, her house was illegally searched and all the truth-clarifying materials and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. Zhu Yuezhen was sent to the police station of the center district of the city. The lawless officials of the CCP threatened that they would ask her husband to divorce her and that they would withhold her pension, and expel her from the Retirement Center.

Zhu Yuezhen had many confrontations with the departments of police and justice of Jinan City, Shandong Province, various levels of justice divisions, the 610 Office, police stations, and neighborhood committees. She has been beaten, cursed, and arrested many times.
