Remembering Xinxing Cultivation while Saving Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) While recently studying "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005,"

I gained some understanding and wrote about it to share with fellow practitioners so that we may improve together.

Currently, Fa-rectification has reached its last phase of the final stage. Yet there are many areas in which we have not cultivated well, which manifests completely during the Fa-rectification period. I enlightened that it is now time to thoroughly eliminate them. That is the reason why the status of some practitioners is not good. Some would say that those practitioners do not even deserve the title of practitioner because they have unexpectedly become attached to an idea that would allow them to give up Falun Dafa. Moreover, some of them have even admitted beginning to mentally scold Falun Dafa and Teacher.

I believe that when these negative influences are exposed for the purpose of their elimination, the most important thing for us to do is maintain the righteous thought of steadfastly following Teacher, rather than allowing ourselves to be led by these notions. This way Falun Dafa can help us to eliminate them. Each Falun Dafa practitioner corresponds to a huge cosmic system. Even just a single thought of ours can play a very significant role in dimensions beneath ours. If our thoughts were to suddenly turn around, or if we were to stop eliminating thought karma, then the problem would become more than just thought karma. As Falun Dafa practitioners during the Fa-rectification period, we are cultivating ourselves only when we do the three things well. If we do only one of these things, then it is not cultivation. I would like to suggest to fellow practitioners who may have recently harbored confusing thoughts or who may have mentally scolded Teacher and Falun Dafa, to study the Fa as much as possible and send forth righteous thoughts at other times to eliminate negative influences. In this way, the situation will improve.

This occurred to me when I recently visited a fellow practitioner at his home, and found him watching daytime TV during this precious period. When I uttered a sentence of criticism, he turned around for a moment, then continued watching TV. I enlightened that at that moment we were being carried along by the old forces. Instead, shouldn't we deny the old influences and enhance our xinxing? How could we follow the old forces, only to become increasingly downcast? Actually, we will cultivate to become great beings that exist totally for the sake of others. If we were these beings already, would we relax our will of assimilating to Falun Dafa and saving sentient beings, just to make our existence more comfortable?

The above is my shallow enlightenment, and I welcome fellow practitioners to point out my shortcomings.
