Imprisoned for Not Swearing

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Z was thrown into jail because he did not want to swear - isn't that hard to believe? However, this really happened under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal regime.

This is how it happened. Mrs. Z suffered from serious dizziness after she had given birth to her baby. An older lady from the close village who was a practitioner gave Mr. Z a Dafa bookmark. Mr. Z was very happy and passed it along to his wife, and told her what the older lady taught him to read with sincerity: "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." His wife did so accordingly. Without noticing it, her dizziness was gone. Mr. Z was overjoyed and came back to the old lady wanting to borrow the book Zhuan Falun. The older lady lent the book and her MP3 player to Mr. Z, as well as some truth clarification materials and pamphlets.

Someone reported this to the police, and the police illegally arrested Mr. Z and questioned him. Not wanting to bring trouble to the good-hearted older lady, Mr. Z firmly insisted that he found the Dafa materials on the streets himself. The police questioned him repetitively, "Are you a Falun Gong practitioner or not?" Mr. Z said he was not. The police said, "If you are not a practitioner, swear at Li Hongzhi for a hundred times, and we will let you go home. If you refuse to swear, you will be sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp." Mr. Z responded, "I never had problems with him, why should I swear at him? Besides, I don't know how to swear, and I have never sworn at others." Mr. Z's parents said, " Our child never learned how to swear." Neighbors also said, "The young man is very nice and kind. We never heard him swear at anyone."

So a good person known throughout the town was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp because he wouldn't swear at others. He is still imprisoned. Mr. Z's parents have a hard time understanding this, "Our child is imprisoned for not swearing at others. What kind of law is this?" The Chinese New Year of this year was particularly hard for them. There is no place for them to go and appeal this injustice.

Mrs. Z said, "My husband is a responsible person. During the past few years, he has tried many methods and spent lots of money buying different medicines to try to cure me. But he never succeeded. Nobody knew that the Dafa bookmark was so miraculous that all my symptoms would disappear within three days of having it. Not only the dizziness was gone, but also the insomnia and the women's reproductive diseases. My husband went to the CCP's jail because he had tried to cure me. He is imprisoned because of not swearing at others. I refuse to accept this!"

Mr. Z's son asked his grandparents and his mother, "You told me that those who don't swear at others are good children. Dad doesn't swear at others, why is he put into prison? Why? Why?"
