People Are Accepting Falun Dafa into Their Hearts

(Clearwisdom.net) We had relatives over this Lunar New Year. A relative from my husband's family saw me and hurriedly asked if I practiced Falun Gong. I told him yes. He asked, "Do you still practice?" I replied, "Yes." He then said, "That's great." He wanted to find the book to read. He often listens to Voice of America, and hears many accounts of the power of Falun Gong, and how many people's illnesses have been cured. He inquired if I brought my book with me. I said, "Yes. If you want to read it, I'll print out a copy for you. If you want to practice, I also have videotapes teaching the exercises." He said that would be very great.

He then took me to another relative who has late stage cancer, and told him, "Falun Gong is good. After you make it through this, when you're well enough to do the exercises, just practice Falun Gong," and continued with how Falun Gong is good. I was there, smiling as I listened. This relative with cancer already knew the truth and had quit the CCP and its related organizations. I told him that he should frequently recite, "Falun Dafa is Good," and also let him listen to the Fa lecture tapes.

There is another incident that also occurred recently. There were some changes at work. When I looked for a new job, an enterprise saw my resume and after the first interview, asked me to a follow-up. The pay was very good, but there were conditions. One was to be honest (because the work dealt with funds), and the second was to be the girlfriend of the supervisor.

I told him I practice Falun Gong and explained the standards that Falun Gong requires us to have. I said that because I have this belief, I can control myself from within not to do bad things. I also told him I could not be his girlfriend. Our Teacher says that a person can have a husband or wife and live a normal life, but the gods do not allow engaging in affairs with others. Some practitioners do not even give up their beliefs when tortured to death, let alone in order to get a job.

At last, he said that he would like to read the Dafa books. His shoulder always hurt. He also wanted to practice. I told him I would give him a copy of the e-books. As I was leaving, he said, "Having a belief is very good, really."

Through these incidents, I feel that people are truly accepting Falun Dafa into their hearts. At the same time, I have a deeper understanding of many of my own shortcomings. From now on, I have to pay closer attention to studying the Fa, and to doing the three things well, to show our thanks for Master's benevolence.
