At Council of Europe, Practitioners Call on Representatives to Address the Persecution in China (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 24-25, 2006, the Council of Europe held a plenary meeting. Falun Gong practitioners from France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Belgium and Finland gathered in Strasbourg, where the meeting took place, and held an activity in front of the European Council building to reveal the cruel and inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

This activity aroused a high degree of interest from representatives at the conference, the media, and the public. At this meeting, the European Council passed a resolution condemning the totalitarian governments of communism. Falun Gong practitioners hope that this resolution will help more people recognize the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party and join them in denouncing the CCP's brutal human rights abuses against people who practice Falun Gong in China.
