Examples of Retribution for Changchun City Police

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Deputy Head of Changchun City Police Station, Qu Wanchen, was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. He can hardly continue to work. He will be transferred from the police station. He holds the second highest ranking position at the police station. His job mainly consists of arresting Falun Gong practitioners. He had already received some retribution in 2004, when he contracted femoral head necrosis, as reported by the Clearwisdom website.

Mr. Zhang Yanchun, who is in his thirties, is the former head of the Huajia Police Station, Nong'an County, Jilin Province. Zhang bought a car with the money he extorted from local residents, and used the car specifically to arrest several dozen Falun Dafa practitioners. His wife divorced him because he had an extramarital affair. In early 2005, he was driving with his mistress when he collided with a three wheel cart, harming the passengers. He was reported to higher authorities and lost his job. Local residents believe that this was retribution for his evil deeds.

Mr. Wu Zhiqiang, in his 50s, is the former head of the Telecommunication Department of Changchun City Police Department. He has followed Jiang Zemin closely, ever since the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999. He ordered his staff and policemen to closely monitor and arrest practitioners able to use the internet. Recently he was fired for having an unsavory sexual relationship, not fulfilling his duties, and corruption.

Former head of Changchun City Police Station, Tian Zhonglin also received retribution for his actions against Falun Gong. Not long after his two younger brothers were hit by cars, his wife was diagnosed with throat cancer. His parent

s both died within one year. Changchun City police say that this is his punishment.
