A practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Last October, I went to my hometown to introduce the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to people, and asked them to quit the CCP and its subsidiary organizations. After about three weeks, 205 people had quit the CCP and its subsidiary organizations.

The first understanding I had was to have righteous thoughts and righteous actions. In addition to regular Fa study, I repeatedly studied several recent articles including "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People," "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human," "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be." I often recited the words in "To the European Fa Conference in Stockholm":

"Everything in the world was established and created for the Fa-rectification, and Dafa disciples are the great figures of our time. Since ancient times the beings in all realms have waited in anticipation. Gather up and rescue the beings that you are to save! Have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, dissolve all hindrances, and spread the facts widely. Divine beings are among men."

Thinking of Teacher's words, of the expectations of sentient beings, and of Dafa disciples' mission, I became more clearheaded with stronger righteous thoughts. I came to understand that saving sentient beings is sacred, and that it is our responsibility. Therefore, my words became more confident, and things went more harmoniously and successfully. Because of righteous thoughts and righteous actions, my words are powerful. They can penetrate listeners to clear away their barriers and awaken their righteousness. Most people quit the CCP and its subsidiary organizations when I first clarified the truth to them.

I would like to give an example to show the power of righteous thoughts and righteous actions. When I frequently clarified the truth home close to home, the dogs did not bark. There were two times that some dogs tried to bite me, but there was no injury since the dogs just could not open their mouths. As long as our thoughts and actions are always on the Fa, we can feel that Dafa disciples are like "gods in the human world."

The second understanding I have is of being compassionate and patient. In the rural areas where residents are sparse and more narrow-minded, it is impossible to spread the Nine Commentaries and ask people to quit the CCP without great compassion and patience. It was harvest time, so I had to look for them out in the fields when the weather was nice, or visit them at home when the weather was bad. Roads in the mountains are small and curved, and are not easy to walk on. Still, I walked from home to home and asked them to quit the CCP one after another. I tried to bring Teacher's enormous compassion as well as practitioners' care to every family and to everyone. Upon hearing this, they thanked me and agreed that Dafa practitioners are good people.

When clarifying the truth in the fields, in the beginning I talked to them while standing. But I felt some barrier and distance between us. So I squatted down and labored together with them. Immediately I could feel we became much closer, with better results. I could also feel the power of compassion. Because the party culture has poisoned them for a long time, some are deeply poisoned with a stubborn mentality as well as fear. This is especially the case with CCP members. For such people, we cannot be irritated or impatient. On the one hand, we can give them the materials for them to read and think about. On the other hand, we need to clarify the truth to them again and again. After breaking through their notions, they also agreed to quit the CCP.

The third understanding I have is to treat people equally. I set a rule for myself: no difference no matter poor or rich, relatives or strangers; no difference regarding time, place and occasions; no difference whether the weather is good or bad; no difference male or female, young or old; no difference regarding education levels. In one word, I try to be sincere with everyone, and always do my best showing no preference. If we have a preference in choosing whom to clarify truth to, we tend to be selfish, making excuses, and yielding to our attachments. For example, there is an uncle and a nephew. One of them has epilepsy and the other is mentally retarded. Others told me not to clarify truth to them, but I insisted. In the end, one of them quit the CCP's subsidiary organization, and the other came to understand how bad the party is. There were also two families who just moved somewhere else and it was hard to locate them. I asked many people, and eventually found them. After I clarified the truth to them, both families also quit the CCP and its subsidiary organizations.

The fourth understanding is to plant seeds for the future. Since the countryside has a large area with a big population, clarifying the truth is very time consuming. Therefore, when clarifying the truth I paid attention to who could clarify the truth to more people. I explained to them the benefits of clarifying the truth to other people. Although I am still working on this, I believe it will work. Even if they only clarify the truth to their relatives or friends, it still helps a lot.

The fifth understanding I have is to be very familiar with the Nine Commentaries. I have found that, without being familiar with Nine Commentaries, it is hard for us to recognize the party's evil nature and eliminate its poison, and hard to ask people to quit the party. Even now, there are still some practitioners who have strong notions and fears of the Nine Commentaries. Some even have not quit the CCP themselves, let alone clarifying the truth to others. Therefore, in order to do well in telling others to quit the CCP, we need to be very familiar with the Nine Commentaries. After quitting the CCP ourselves, after our family members and relatives have quit the CCP, we will gain more experience in telling others to quit the CCP.
