The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Meihekou City Secretary Wang Wengang in Jilin Province assumed his position in June 2005. He was working in Ji'an City before this job, and followed Jiang Zemin and his regime closely in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. He continued doing harm after being assigned to Meihekou City. He ordered the Meihekou City TV Station to repeatedly broadcast fabricated TV programs of the Tiananmen Self-Immolation, and ones that slander Falun Dafa and its founder, and poison people's minds in Meihekou City. He directed policemen to arrest nine Falun Dafa practitioners in two groups and spread the news that he will emphasize persecuting Falun Gong in the city in 2006.
