The 610 Office of the Fengrun District in Tangshan City, Hebei
Province, led by Chen Huiliang, went to "Shiyan First Elementary
School" to slander Falun Gong on February 22, 2006. They used the school as
a test to apply their dirty tricks of smearing Falun Gong with deception and
threats. If successful, they planned to later extend it to the entire district.
The meeting was organized by Principal Liu Lanmin, Director Bai Chunhui, and
Councilor Han Xiaohui. The 1,500 students and 60 teachers held a large
conference to condemn Falun Gong. Principal Liu announced their tasks. They
required every student in the class to speak and write a report. Students would
be banned from the class if they did not write the report, or they would not be
allowed to go home after school. Instead, they would be forced to stay in the
little dark room in the school. Two students from each class who wrote the best
reports would be chosen to give a speech in the conference later on. The school
had more than 20 classes.
In the class, the teacher asked the student to speak first. Then the teacher
taught them how to write, one sentence at a time. They then made fliers and
wrote articles and posted them on the bulletin boards in the classroom. Some
students refused to write because they knew that Dafa is good, but they were not
allowed to go home.
Some teachers asked the students to report practitioners and those who
distributed Falun Gong materials (including their own relatives). They asked the
students not to read Falun Gong materials and to tear them up if they see any.
The school was harming students, parents, and teachers by forcing evil
thoughts into these children.
