Firmly Believing in Dafa and Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts Well

When I shared experiences on sending forth righteous thoughts with a few fellow practitioners, I once said that I did not concentrate very much on sending forth righteous thoughts and even slacked off a little because I could not see scenes in other dimensions, nor so truly feel the miraculous power of righteous thoughts, and thus I doubted whether I possessed supernatural abilities. Then we thought it over.

Teacher said in Zhuan Falun:

"Actually, I can tell you that when a person truly cultivates, a lot of abilities will emerge as soon as he starts practicing. You've already gotten to such a high level, so your abilities are already abundant."

Whether we can see things in other dimensions or not, the mighty power of righteous thoughts really does exist and concretely manifests in our material dimension. Many times, however, we ourselves cannot enlighten to it and ignore it. I would like to share the concrete examples about sending forth righteous thoughts that my fellow practitioners and I talked about.

Due to the evil's interference, I could not access the Internet for several days. Just at this time, a fellow practitioner told me that 20 copies of Hong Yin II were urgently needed. Then I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil that damaged the Internet so that fellow practitioners could read the Jingwen (articles written by Teacher) as soon as possible.

As I did so, I had no thoughts except this intent in my mind. Later, a miracle occurred when I started the computer. The Clearwisdom website appeared clearly before me. I found Hong Yin II and downloaded it. The Internet immediately disconnected as soon as I had finished downloading Hong Yin II. I pressed my palms together (Heshi) to thank Teacher. After that, I again sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil that had been interfering with the Internet connection for several consecutive days. As a result, the connection was finally restored.

A fellow practitioner also said that once, when he was making "truth-clarification" materials, the host of his computer suddenly shut off and restarting the computer several times didn't help. So he immediately sent forth righteous thoughts and the computer restarted properly. As soon as the "truth-clarification" materials were finished, the host again shut off. The next day he asked a professional to take a look. He found that the lines originating in the host switch were broken and that the ends of the wires had fallen more than one centimeter away from each other. The professional did not understand how the computer had restarted, but the fellow practitioner knew this was due to the miraculous power of Dafa and righteous thoughts.

Fellow practitioner A works in a hospital. She learned that the police had illegally detained a fellow practitioner in the hospital. That night she was on duty, so she asked practitioner B to come help. At midnight, they set out to rescue the detained fellow practitioner. They first sent forth righteous thoughts together outside the ward. A few minutes later, B told A that she saw four evils eliminated. A said that three policemen were posted at the door. When they went to the door of the ward, they saw all three policemen sleeping. They entered the ward and found another policeman inside also sleeping. In the end, they succeeded in rescuing the fellow practitioner, who had come from Henan Province and was detained for coming to Beijing to clarify the truth about Dafa.

After a fellow practitioner and I broke out of a brainwashing center together, we resumed cultivating on the Fa-validating path. When talking about the power of righteous thoughts, the fellow practitioner gave a concrete example. The authorities tried to take photos of him when he was first sent to a brainwashing center. He sent forth righteous thoughts toward the camera and, as a result, the photo turned out all dark. His photos were taken again, and the results were the same. It was not until later, when his mental state was compromised, that his photo was successfully taken. That made a great impact on me. I remembered I had also sent forth righteous thoughts when my photo was taken for the first time. But due to insufficient confidence and doubt about the power of righteous thoughts, the photo proved to be completely dark on the upper part of my face and clear on the lower part of my face. Later, I also gave in and relaxed my mental state and my photo was taken. At that time, however, I was not conscious of such broad hints and was not able to enlighten to Teacher's compassion and the dignity of Dafa. How distressing and dangerous that was!

In my opinion, sending forth righteous thoughts is one of the three things every Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period should do well, and improving one's understanding on sending forth righteous thoughts is also cultivation. Whether or not we can send forth righteous thoughts well depends on whether or not we firmly believe in Dafa in cultivation. Only if we firmly believe in Teacher and Dafa and eliminate bad thoughts can we send forth righteous thoughts well.

In the end, let us review Teacher's words in "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference:"

"If upon encountering trying circumstances your thinking can be truly righteous, then, when faced with the evil's persecution and when faced with interference, just one sentence of yours fortified with steadfast righteous thoughts can instantly make the evil disintegrate (applause), and it will make those who are being used by the evil turn and flee, it will make the evil's persecution of you dissolve, and it will make the evil's interfering with you disappear without a trace."
