Three Falun Gong Practitioners from Sichuan and Jilin Province Pass Away Due to Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Liu Benhong, about 70 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Caochang Township, Miyi County, Sichuan Province. Suffering from severe persecution, he passed away on January 15, 2006. Before he began practicing Falun Dafa, he had several serious diseases. Not long after he began to practice Falun Dafa in 1998, all his diseases were cured, and later he led the Falun Gong Assistance Center in Caochang Town. However, after the persecution began in 1999, he was seriously persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as a "model" case.

He was detained in the brainwashing center of Caochang Town. With encouragement from Liao Chengyu, the Party secretary of Caochang Town, the brainwashing center brutally abused Falun Gong practitioners. Mr. Liu was held in servitude. They forced him to do heavy and tiring work such as digging, sweeping, cleaning the toilet, dumping or even operating drills. Moreover, they deprived him of sleep by forcing him to stand. Mr. Liu Benhong was illegally detained in the Miyi County Detention Center for as long as six months. During this period, he was handcuffed to iron bars in a hallway in the Political Protection Section for seven days and seven nights without being allowed to eat or drink. Afterwards he was so thirsty that he drank a half bottle of water that had been secretly poisoned by the police. Since then, his health deteriorated and he experienced gallbladder pain. After returning home, Mr. Liu Benhong still persisted in his belief and did his best to clarify the truth of Falun Gong. He passed away on January 15, 2006.

Ms. Sun SuQing, 70, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Songjiang Township, Jiaohe City, Jilin Province. She originally suffered from several severe diseases. However, after she started to practice Falun Gong in 1996, all her diseases were cured. Nevertheless, she was severely damaged by the illegal detention of her son and daughter-in-law after their appeal for Falun Dafa in Beijing. Her son was sentenced to a forced labor camp twice. Furthermore, she herself was illegally abducted into the brainwashing center twice between 1999 and 2003 and was detained for one month in May, 2002. In March, 2004, the heartbroken Sun SuQing passed away in grief because her son was sentenced to a forced labor camp and her daughter-in-law was detained.

Ms. Liu ZhenQin, 55, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Peishan Street, Yanji City, Jilin Province. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1995. Soon afterwards her several severe diseases disappeared. When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to use all its power and means to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in July 1999, she had been trying to clarify the truth of Dafa. Thus, she was illegally arrested and taken to the brainwashing center, and was abused at the detention center three times. With her body and mind severely damaged by the persecution, she passed away in September 2004.
