Baicheng City Political and Judiciary Committee Clerk Li Xiang Persecutes Falun Gong Practitioners

Li Xiang is a clerk in the Baicheng City's Political and Judiciary Committee. He was appointed the position of chairman for the Baicheng City Police Department in November 2005. Since then, he has been using all the resources within his reach to persecute Dafa practitioners.

Right after he took over this office, Li Xiang started cooperating with the Jilin Province 610 Office brainwashing center at Baicheng. Soon after that, Li Xiang started to employ large numbers of "safety guards." Together with policemen, they patrol the city in order to capture Dafa practitioners and monitor them 24 hours a day. During the Chinese Lunar New Year, they went to the homes of Dafa practitioners and harassed them and their families. On lunar January 15th (solar February 12, 2006), the day of the Lantern Festival, Li Xiang used all his manpower, who were equipped with electric batons, and they ransacked numerous practitioners' homes. They illegally arrested and fined three practitioners.
