(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa has become very popular throughout Taiwan since it was first introduced there in April 1995. There are more than one thousand practice sites around the country. Many practitioners who work for the government use their lunch breaks to do the exercises and to promote Falun Dafa in their workplace. Falun Dafa has been well recognized by all levels of government and society, a strong contrast to China where the Communist Party slanders Falun Dafa and thousands of practitioners have been killed in the persecution.
A group practice site at central government office complex building
Practitioners working in the Taipei Central Government Office Complex held an activity outside the office building on March 1. Practitioners passed out truth-clarification materials to their colleagues and visitors to government offices. They talked about the beauty of Falun Dafa and how it has flourished around the world.
The central office complex is comprised of two buildings: the north and south. The complex houses various government Ministries such as Internal Affairs, Education, Overseas Chinese Affairs, Mongolia and Tibet Committee, Foreign Affairs, Mainland China Committee and Human Resources. A few thousand people work here in addition to the daily visitors who come to apply for passports, certificates, licenses, etc. It is also a popular tourist destination.
The Falun Dafa group practice site at the office complex was established in September 2001. Practitioners practice the exercises and study the Fa here during their lunch breaks. Banners and truth-clarification pictures attract many passersby to read and learn the truth.
Ms. Hu, a new student of Falun Dafa, said she received a truth-clarification flyer that told her how good Falun Dafa was. She has read Zhuan Falun three times and is attending a nine-day lecture video class. She is very happy to share her experiences with other practitioners.
Practitioners decided to change the format of their display to give more people a chance to learn about Falun Dafa. They now hand out materials to passersby, in addition to displaying photos and doing the exercises. The practitioners treasure the opportunity and welcome people to learn the truth about the practice and persecution of Falun Dafa.
