Doing the Three Things Well Is Cultivation
By a Falun Dafa practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) Master said in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco,
2005 (Q&A)": "The state of things since July 20, 1999, has been completely
different from that of before July 20, 1999. That is why doing the three
things well is cultivation, while doing only one of the three isn't--that's
how it is, and you won't be able to improve that way. So Dafa disciples must
do them well." Master has stressed for several years that Fa-rectification Dafa disciples
must do well each of the three things at the same time. In this
case, Master has made it perfectly clear that doing only one of the three things
is not cultivation. Perhaps many of us haven't achieved the standards and
requirements of a Fa-rectification disciple and haven't come to the right
understanding, which worries Master very much. In order to cherish ourselves and all sentient beings, and in order not to
hinder the progress of Master's Fa-rectification, every Dafa disciple should
treat "doing the three things well" seriously. It is the basic and
fundamental requirement for a Fa-rectification disciple. It is also the
foundation needed to elevate in cultivation, to eradicate all interference and
evil, to validate Dafa and genuinely save sentient beings in the human world. If
we do not attach importance to doing the three things well, we may become
impetuous and shallow, which will in turn decrease our manpower as a whole, our
time and resources, and have a negative effect. If we do not do the three things
well, our human attachments, human mentality and emotions will come into play
and unmask our loopholes, which will lead to more interference and persecution. January 17, 2006 |
