FGHRWG Appeals to United Nations, People Worldwide Condemn the Persecution in China

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 13, 2006, the Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group (FGHRWG) filed an appeal to the United Nations concerning the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp. The appeal exposed the atrocities of the Chinese Communist regime in the killing of practitioners for their organs for profit. It further revealed the evil nature of the Chinese Communist regime to the whole world. The Sujiatun concentration camp is reminiscent of the Nazi concentration camps in World War II. Further investigation is currently underway to provide more facts and details of these atrocities to the world.

The number of cases reported to the United Nations of Falun Gong practitioners persecuted by the Chinese Communist regime has steadily increased each year. The Chinese regime is notorious for its persecution. The United Nations initiated an investigation in China last year, in which the persecution of Falun Gong was a main focus. This year, each member country is working hard to prepare reforms to the Human Rights Committee of the United Nations, the major purpose of which is to remove those with terrible human rights records from the committee. The democratic countries have long been considering the removal of the Chinese Communist regime from the committee. '

At the same time, the FGHRWG called on the United Nations, requesting that officials proceed with a thorough investigation of the Sujiatun case and rescue the practitioners held there. FGHRWG also called on the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances, to pursue the investigation of the cases of missing Falun Gong practitioners. It is very possible that practitioners who have been missing for a long time have been sent to this kind of concentration camp and tortured to death.

The following are the voices of people from all over the world condemning the Chinese Communist regime's inhumanity (courtesy of FGHRWG):

Comments: I thank the people who are risking so much to tell the world of this terrible treatment of prisoners of the Chinese government. We must educate ourselves and work for justice for those people who are forced to live in this inhuman way and boycott those products which are made under these inhuman conditions under this regime.

Comments: I can't believe that one person could possible [sic] do this to another. (reverse rolls, and lets see how they like the torture), We have a responsibility to look out for our human rights as well as others. Humans are evolving and there is no room in today's society for this kind of treatment. Do you think if our government stops international trades (as a protest) with the Chinese government, that they will do something about this inhumanity.

Comments: It is very important to keep informing the world of the terrible consequences of communist ruling.

B. J.

From: Australia, Signed at: 2006-02-24 05:55

Comments: Knowledge and availability of information brought down the Berlin Wall and the Chinese "Communist" Party will end the same way. It is presently doing everything in its horrible power to prevent the inevitable future. Humanity will evolve beyond what we see now.

To those who have spoken out against this ...POWER TO YOU and keep strong!!

From: England, Signed at: 2006-02-22 13:05

Comments: Inhumane treatment such as forced labour and torture cannot ever be justified. It serves no other purpose than to sustain power and create riches for the perpetrators. Those of us who can should avoid buying Chinese goods!

From: Slovak Republic, Signed at: 2006-02-24 08:25

Comments: I am shocked! This violence must stop.

I say, "To get rich off the back of Slavery is despicable!"

Long live Human Rights!

From: Australia, Signed at: 2006-02-22 21:42

Comments: It is absolutely shameful that the world turns a blind eye to the practices of the Chinese Government in its prisons. Corporations need to fully investigate conditions in respect of any of their products being manufactured in China & consumers need to think twice before purchasing a product made in China.

D. L. M.

From: Delta, BC, Canada, Signed at: 2006-02-23 14:59

Comments: I wrote and sent 308 hand-signed letters to 308 members of parliament in Canada, requesting action to cease illegal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Canada. Only two members of parliament responded, one from the Liberal party and one from the NDP. The Conservatives and Bloc Quebecois chose to ignore my communication, yet, members of parliament are obligated to respond.

The long arm of the Chinese government reaches into Canada and the dignity and security of our citizens remains compromised and violated.

E. I.

From: England, Signed at: 2006-02-22 10:17

Comments: I appeal to the humanity of people in the Chinese authorities to protect their brothers and sisters. The world is beginning to hear and see what is happening.

L. M.

From: Australia, Signed at: 2006-02-23 07:05

Comments: For human kind to advance, we need to embrace our spiritual connectedness and lay aside the physical embodiment of individual and collective fear and ignorance which torture represents. Every individual needs to stand up and acknowledge that this is not acceptable and governments, as representatives of the people, need to voice this articulation in clear, unwavering, united tones in the international arena. It is time for true freedom and humane [sic] to begin.

N. C.

From: England, Signed at: 2006-02-23 11:58

Comments: all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

M B.

From: Canada, Signed at: 2006-02-23 14:02

Comments: The Canadian government can't turn away from such human rights violations. Nor can it ignore its responsibility to ensure Canadian consumers are getting safe products manufactured in a humane way. We need legislation and action. Consumers can also play a role. Stop buying products made in China. Period.

Comments: Be human not beast

A. D.

From: Bulgaria, Sofia, Signed at: 2006-02-24 18:01

Comments: I would like to translate the so-called motto of the Bulgarian revolutionaries - [...] which in English means 'Freedom or death'.. the freedom to live in a free world, the freedom to choose, the freedom to tell others your opinion, without punishment.. Nobody wants to live in a world of lies and deceive [sic]!!!

D. B.

From: United Kingdom, Signed at: 2006-02-22 20:42

Comments: Torture has no place in the modern world.

China will be a better and more successful country without torture.

M. L. W.

From: Somerset, Ma USA, Signed at: 2006-02-26 14:11

Comments: No one should be tortured because of what they believe, the persecuted people are in my prayers everyday.

J. V.

From: Western Australia, Signed at: 2006-02-28 04:30

Comments: Human rights violations in China are disturbing. That they are widespread, and that slave labour is being used to produce so many things we have on sale in Australia, is very worrying. I am circulating this material to some members of Parliament.
