Police Officers in Suning County, Hebei Province Still Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners

Police officers in Suning County, Hebei Province are still persecuting Dafa practitioners. They illegally detained practitioner Ms. Song Fengying for several months and later sent her to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. It is learned that she has lost sight in one eye, and she also suffers from diabetes. One of her legs is swollen and she has difficulty urinating. The Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp refused to admit her, but the detention center authorities insisted and pressured for her to be accepted.

On the afternoon of December 20, 2005, Dafa practitioner Mr. Yuan Ming from Suning County posted two truth clarification flyers in Dongqingkou Village in Shangcun Town. Guo Shuting saw him and took him to the police department where Yuan Ming was detained overnight.

That same night, some unlawful people and officers from the county police department went to ransack Yuan Ming's home. His family members were too frightened to stop them.

The next afternoon, the persecutors took Yuan Ming to the county police department. By this time Yuan Ming had not eaten for 24 hours. The captors coerced him to write a guarantee statement. They sent him back to the detention center where he was held for seven more days. Shangcun Police Department agents extorted 400 yuan from Yuan Ming. His family had to pay the officials 1,000 yuan to try to get him released.
